Coming out of halftime he needs to tell the team: "Alright guys we're going to overtime let's play 5 really great minutes of Laker basketball."

I hope they don't fire Vogel, as I don't think the replacements are really that solid. But if they do, I would like to see they go with Becky Hammon

I'm almost on board with firing Vogel at this point, but who could we hire or promote who would be better than him?

Fire him.
Fire him, fire him , fire him

He makes a long overdue substitute in the third OT at 1:20 left.

He's not an idiot. He's deliberately doing these thing to protest his extension.

Fire his ass now.

I am not sure how much blame you can put on Vogel when lebron and AD decides to be splash brothers and went 2-18 from the 3

He's lost the lockerroom and the fans. We don't have a coach anyway.

Doesn't matter.

DeAndre?
Zero substitutes when they're gassed?
Zero offensive schemes?

LeBron and AD have tuned him out

If we can find a coach to stop lebron and AD from taking those 3s, i am all for it

If we can’t stop anyone of defense might as well run some plays on offense. The ISOs are killing this team.

I'd like to see more effort on the glass.

And just more energy in general. Alot of coasting. Particularly early in games.

Overall, Vogel still gets a pass in my book since he won a chip with us. But I'll join the rest of the people with pitchforks if we under perform this postseason.

I don’t see him getting fired until the off-season at least since there seems to be no better alternative at the moment.

The Lakers have completely collapsed in too many games. I think a different coach could help.

A different coach can design more plays to get a few more baskets when the other team is going on a run. That can stem the tide or even break up a run.

A different coach can make sure more players are involved throughout the game. That's not only tougher to defend, but more players are going to be viable in crunch time. During Kings game today, nobody else seemed viable when LeBron took all the shots late in the 4th and the overtimes.

LeBron doesn't want to take all the shots. He's not Kobe. He's a play-maker at heart. I think if there's a concerted effort to get more players involved, he'll be ok with that.

This roster isn't perfect. But, I don't think Vogel is the right guy to maximize the team the way it's constructed.

If this game shows anything, we need the big lineups at the closing time. Even if he has to make the offense /defense sub. The offense rebounds we gave up is killing us

we're not making it to the postseason on this current trajectory. they're botton of the league in almost every metric that matters playing the easiest stretch of the schedule

The Lakers are bad right now beyond Vogel, but let's get this over with. Bring on Fizdale.

Let's see what the real problem is.

Fizdale wouldn't be the answer either. Perhaps losing Kidd and Hollins was a bigger blow than expected. Maybe making sure keeping Dudz on the bench would've helped. All I know is that he's lost the team. Good guy. Great defensive coach, but not a leader. And he's been exposed offensively. Was he dealt a bad hand? Sure. But the team shouldn't be this bad. A new voice, any voice might help ala Bickerstaff.

At the very least, give this poor man an offensive guru....

I want them to fire Vogel and get Hammon.

They'd probably get D'Antoni.

Vogel didn't want one. He intentionally did not go after an offensive assistant in the off-season because he felt it wasn't needed, till we saw our full roster -_-

Dude is really horrible with in game adjustments. He over guess at times and don’t have the balls to tell his superstars off and make them accountable. He just letting them play and hoping that Lebron bails him out… Had a timeout at the end of 4th and they could have drawn up a play on the post for Lebron or AD but instead had Lebron settle for a long 3 in a tied game?

What's the Lakers record this year with AD, Lebron and Westbrook playing together.

they don't have any clear direction on offense outside of one or two feeble screens and letting players iso. it's maddening to watch
