Because they were at the Toyota Center and not Oracle. I'm sure he was able to pull some strings to make it happen.

Surprised the NBA doesn't have a rule governing this. Eh. Now that I think about it, they probably do and CP3 broke it anyway as there are no real consequences for this type of thing - maybe a small fine.

It's kind of crazy how you still hear how good of a teammate he is yet has had A LOT of his best ex teammates come out and talk about how they dislike him. I also remember an article years back talking about how many players strongly dislike him throughout the entire league but wont publicly say much while still in the NBA due to his pettiness and connections within the league.

Not surprised in the slightest at that move against Curry though, completely fits him as the petty underachieving flopping overly dramatic douche bag he has always been
