What’s the difference between an athletic trainer and a physical therapist? Because I heard we’re trying to hired the Toronto Raptors trainer who is very very close to Kawhi.

Trainer - shape/strength. Therapist - healing/recovery.

Don't know anything about her but if she's good enough for Kobe she's good enough for me. Welcome back Dr. Mamba

Kobe also swore by Gary Vitti, who was an abject disaster in the latter stages of his career.

I have no idea how good Seto is; she could very well be excellent. But Kobe’s vote of confidence in and of itself doesn’t inspire much confidence for me.

He supported Vitti and trusted him, but he never called him the Lakers' "secret weapon." But if Kobe did trust him, then maybe he knew more about the good things that Vitti did than we do?

That’s true; much more outspoken and effusive in his support for Seto.

Disagree on Vitti though. By the end he was widely regarded as embarrassingly behind the times from a sports science and medicine stsndpoint.

The reign of Judy Seto is now in the past tense.

Quote:
Judy Seto, a longtime presence within the Lakers training staff, is no longer with the team after her contract expired, sources with knowledge told The Times.

He'll be the first one in league history to be PoBO, GM, coach and physical therapist

Thanks for your services.
I enjoyed the videos where you had Kobe grab marbles with his toes.

I can’t find the post now. I think I saw it on Facebook, but reportedly, the Lakers are not going to hire anybody to fill this position.

I read somewhere that Rambis would take over. But I forget where.

Lmao!

Found it

The team hired Roger Sancho as head athletic trainer last summer, and sources say he’ll lead that department just like he did last season when Seto was still on staff. The Lakers, a source said, will not be replacing Seto in her “director of sports performance” role.

They probably save 150k to 300k by not replacing her.

We're counting on you, Roger!
Team can't do any worse in terms of injuries than last year.

No continuity in Lakerland

It's a dysfunctional Mom/Pop disorganization.

This organization seems too cheap and nepotistic to hire the best men and women.

It's like someone who wants a Ferrari but is only willing to pay enough to afford a Honda.

Mom and Pop organizations are usually loyal to their rank and file staff.
