Nobody is even reacting t this, been here for 5 hours. Tells me something Emplay. I don't think anyone has the stomach to attempt a trade with NO, they (bleep) us already, despite us throwing them a bone with Randle. We could have F'ed them with that if we really wanted to.

Personally, I think we should get LBJ and Jeannie ALL IN on Kawhi. We have a solid situation for him here, we need to drop all the BS negativity and go all in on recruiting this guy. That includes the fans too!! Quit your belly aching, we are one player away from being a solid force in this league. Kawhi is that guy!!

I'm a San Diego guy Kawhi, sign with the Lakers!!!

Lakers need to offer Ingram OR Kuzma, Hart, 1st Rd pick (#4) in 2019, 1st in 2020 and fillers (anyone not named Lebron James or Lonzo Ball).

Good luck on the Pelicans finding a FO willing to gut their team for a better package only to have AD walk to LA in 2020.

NO F'ed the Lakers at the trading deadline... now is the time for the Lakers to F NO hard.

Then the Lakers need to go hard after Kawhi, Kyrie, Durant, etc.

AD
LeBron
Kyrie
Ball
Kuzma

Work the financials and lets get it done.

What's wrong with this picture?

Can anyone spot the guy who averages 10ppg, misses 57% of his FT's, misses about 70% of his 3point shots and has missed an average of 30+ games per year?

Well, that's the guy that doesn't belong....

IMO....In a AD trade, I send out Ball/Kuz/Hart/4th pick/next years 1st rounder.....I keep BI.

Bron
Kawhi
BI
AD

Then go from there....

Can't argue other than to say that many players blossomed after several years and turned great players.

Why even think about the potential humiliation we would take and the disheartening effects on the players. If AD wants to come here, it is up to him to find a way.

NO Will NOT Trade AD to Lakers Ever

If Darius Garland is the type of prospect I think he is, the #4 is not a mere throw-in asset. It'll be interesting to see what Jesse and Ryan think of him. I'm looking forward to news of his workout.

Likely one more good ring chaser too.

From what I read, NO has zero intention to entertain offers
from the Lakers. There is a bitter taste from last seasons
fiasco.

Lakers simply need to move on.

Nah, there was just an article posted where the NO owner came out and said that was total (bleep). She’s willing to trade AD to the highest bidder, period. But now with Zion in the bag, they are going to spend a couple weeks trying to convince AD to stay first before considering offers.

Owners aren't like fans. Yes, they get mad - but then they get over it.

CASE IN POINT - Dan Gilbert

After "The Decision," on July 8, 2010, Gilbert had a meltdown of epic proportions. He did everything except call LeBron the N word. He vowed not to help LeBron by sign-and-trading him.

TWO DAYS LATER . . . Gilbert sent LeBron to Miami in a sign-and-trade, netting the CAVS two 1st round picks and a 2nd rounder.. Why?

It was the best business move.

I feel the team is getting punished over what the Rams did to the Saints on-route to the Superbowl last year. Throw in the distaste from Klutch trying to engineer the move from pre-ASB.

Bottom line, they won't trade with the Lakers.

At least it’s a more subtle headline Emplay dropped on us this time. We were just moving on from Magic’s bad moves when Emplay comes waltzing in and dropping, “Did the Lakers give up on Russell and Randle too soon.” The whole (bleep) place exploded into chaos and us here at LG were left with the fallout.

I also think this topic has been talked to death on LG. Emplay's columns seem to be aimed at people who don't really follow the Lakers too closely, rather than the LG types who already know all the possible permutations of the trade offers we might make.

In order for AD to walk to LA in 2020, wouldn't that mean we signed only 1 yr deals again this year?

To be fair, Emplay doesn't write the headlines for his pieces. That's done by an editor who is trying to grab clicks, and often the headline doesn't really reflect his pieces.
