Seems to be a rash of new threads that are "looking at things..." from a certain perspective. Perhaps these will all get merged but until then I wanted to start my own. From the perspective of someone living in Indiana, I will say the majority of Pacers fans have nothing but respect for Frank Vogel.

Also Lance Stephenson. In case anyone cares.

That's good and reassuring to hear. It's not often a coach has the respect of the majority of fans after being let go off. I thought he had a really good record at Indiana... and in his introductory interview, he sounded like a smart guy and a grinder who likes to be prepared. So I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do here and wish him nothing but success. The Monty/Lue segments of the Head Coach search are an after-thought in my mind now and don't bother me in the least. TBH, we may have lucked into the best coach of the three. I'm just hoping that he has LeBron's buy-in from the start... also hoping the Vogel-Kidd dynamic isn't forced into a shift.

Question: Did the Pacers have a shooting coach when Vogel was their HC?

I noticed the Indiana fans' welcome to Lance when we played there, and vice versa too. Seems to be a two way street there.
