I saw his tweets. I am glad that he made it through. Hopefully he gets better soon. Pete means a lot to not only people here on LG, but Laker fans all around the world.

I about fell out of my seat reading that....wow, that is way too many things to deal with at one time at his age. Hope his health returns as soon as possible.

He does make a great point about guys our age (late 30's, early 40's), the days of almost everything passing with time because of the advantages of youth are mostly in the rear view mirror....and when things do not feel right, there is a good chance they are not going to simply get better without medical attention in some manner. Also, never let money be an impediment to seeking medical help if needed....do not want to go into a lot of detail here, but basically seek the medical attention and don't be shy about telling the facility you do not have the resources to pay for the care (if that is the case). I spent a big part of my career consulting with large acute care facilities, and trust me, they will find a way to get it covered (through programs we are likely no even aware of) or they will use the charity care to benefit themselves in annual cost reporting.

***After you have received care, If you do not have insurance, DO NOT AGREE to any type of payment plan that will be difficult to afford....simply say no that you can not afford it.

We should have known something was out of order when he allowed Harrison Faigen to sit in his seat on the recent LFR podcast.
