The only West Lakers fans should care about/root for nowadays is Ryan.
Ignoring the award giver. I haven't rooted for the award receiver for over a decade now.
Not a Jerry specific opinion either. I don't root for Riley in Miami. Or Vlade in Sacramento either.
It's been so long since Jerry has helped our franchise. I don't even consider this topic worthy of being in the Lounge.

Huge difference is that West has tried to come back and help the Lakers TWICE and been denied.

I've always meant to ask you a question. Since you seem to (rightly) revere Dr. Buss I was wondering how much of his children's abject failure you would place on him leaving the business to them yet not preparing them for the road ahead?
I'm not trying to say Dr. Buss is at fault here but I've always been curious of your thoughts on this. |

I hate to break the news to you but Jerry Buss died about 5 years ago. He didn’t pass on West after he left the Warriors, Jeanie did. You should buy a newspaper or something, keep up with current events.

It was a mistake leaving the team to his kids, especially in hindsight. He did try to prepare them to run the team but they just don’t seem to have the mental makeup to be successful. Dr. Buss appeared to be about the Lakers first but his kids seem to be about themselves first, Lakers second.
