Many years ago, we had shaq and kobe, and a very deep team

then someone took over as GM:

then we still had shaq and kobe, and became a very thin team

now we have only kobe, and still one of the thinnest team

how impressive is this GM?

Technically speaking:

Once upon a time...we had a very good GM, Shaq, Kobe, a deep bench rotation, but lacks a good coach. We hired a good coach, but he likes to play GM, therfore our GM left to Memphis. An appretice GM was appointed and rest is history...

i hate the 2007 plan....yeah lets burn out kobe these next two year mitch way to go...

i like george, mihm, odom, cook, and smush, its a solid rotation, but kobe just needs one more guy....

Yeah, and it has to be the right guy. Well it's not as if the Lakers were supposed to win the prize this year anyway.

Hardly. The Spurs are filled with hard-nosed players, savvy veterans, and a deep bench. This team is 7-deep at best and has Lamar Odom as its second-best player. Not even close. Not even remotely close.

TD, Manu, and Parker any given night. Then you have Van Exel, Finley, Mohammed, Bowen just doing their roles. Sorry, we have nothing like the Spurs. The only difference is we have Kobe.
