But I'm super happy to have a talent like AD. Greatness in his bones. Legacy over money. Kid is gonna come out and remind everyone why there can't be an MVP conversation without him. |

I believe AD will lead the Lakers in scoring next year especially if Lebron plays point guard. |

AD is the most talented big man since Duncan imo and he can do everything on both ends. AD will be an MVP in this league, it's just a matter of when. With all the free agents that were wishy washy when the time came to become a Laker in free agency, AD did everything in his power to make sure he became a Laker via trade, that's how badly he wanted to become a Laker. AD as the pick n roller with LeBron as the ball handler is going to be the most dangerous play in basketball. This is going to be the first time in LeBron's career that he arguably won't be the consensus best player on his own team, that's how good AD already is. |

RICH PAUL: ANTHONY DAVIS SACRIFICED $4 MILLION TO HELP THE LAKERS
Quote: | Anthony Davis “wanted to do what’s best for the team,” by waiving a $4 million trade kicker when he was dealt to Los Angeles by the New Orleans Pelicans, according to his agent Rich Paul.
Paul adds that AD’s decision was not contingent on the Lakers acquiring Kawhi Leonard. |

I've only bought Magic's jersey as a 30+ year Lakers fan.
I may get one of AD's. I think his jersey will be retired as a Laker. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

they have a real relationship. it's why when they got the #1 pick, Woj like an idiot was reporting they have a real chance to keep AD. ..just cuz that's what Griffin was trying to push.
Also why all of our young players suddenly became great prospects to Woj even though they were gross 4 months earlier |

Player movement these days is very interesting. Even elite organizations aren't immune to it. If you asked someone who the best run organizations are they'd probably list the Spurs, Warriors, Raptors and Thunder at the top and they all just lost franchise players in the last two years. I think maybe that's why you're seeing these Godfather offers. The Clippers may only have 2 years of this before one of their stars decides they want to move on. I think Davis will re-sign with us, but nothing is guaranteed and it may have nothing to do with us. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Wonder when PG13 will tire being KL's Robin and try to snake out again. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

A year ago he committed long term to OKC talking about brotherhood and unfinished business. Everyone seems to be a free agent in 2019, regardless of their contract. I think that's why teams are going all in. Long term building with stars may be a thing of the past. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

I think the Clips will be one of the many contenders, but I think there is a premature coronation of the team. Few questions:
1. health of KL/PG
2. who is setting these guys up?
3. will it be a KL turn, PG turn, Lou turn, sort of team? Heavy iso?
4. is Zub really a long term answer at center?
5. Montrez is a great backup center, but is he getting a bit overhyped now? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Same. I'll wait a few years before I decide whether I should get AD's lol. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."
