Agree. Here is another one:
nick wright
@getnickwright
One particular NBA award voter who...
Had Luka & Drummond 1st Team All D. Kristaps, Russ & Whiteside on his 2nd Team All D.
His DPOY ballot had Drummond 1st & Whiteside 2nd.
He also had Ingram, Drummond & Trae 2nd team All NBA.
He clearly doesn’t watch the league he votes on. |
^Whoever that has should have their vote taken away.
Not as punishment, but just that a lot of money and prestige is riding on these selections and if you are too busy or distracted to vote competently, you should cede your spot for someone more attuned to what is going on in the sport. |
true, forgot these awards are tied to contract $ |

I think it’s true media voting does have bias. One reason is media tend to pick their team to win championship, best player in the league and others early in the season. And because they are invested in their decision(their viewers and supporters are tied to their belief) they tend to have a hard time changing their mind even when new events warrant a change
For example skip bayless and Chris Broussard were Picking the clippers to win it all as many others. Skip even to this day seem to stick with that perspective that if the clippers got pass the nuggets they would have beaten the Lakers and his reasons for supporting that are very odd.
Broussard changed his mind just before game 7 against the nuggets and said they would lose against the Lakers but beat the nuggets.
So these guys tend to stick with who they think is the best defensive player and mvp even when it’s obvious or nearly it’s obvious it’s not. Even max kellerman who said Kawhi is better than Lebron seems to not fully admit he is wrong or says the circumstances were different.
Long story short these guys are too stubborn. They already made up their minds at the beginning of the season. And if that is the case why not just vote for mvp dpoy 1st team and the like at the beginning of the season |

He isn't just a great player, but also an intelligent and smart one.
Playing with huge confidence, the guy is a stud obviously. Anyone regret trading for him now? I have noticed the Pelinka haters have gone mute also. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

What do people make of that last play? Should Plumlee have fought harder to follow AD or was he right to call Grant to make the switch to AD so he could take LBJ?
I think his momentum was in AD's direction and should have stayed that way but if he and Grant were on the same page it was probably better to have Grant make the shorter closeout and have plumlee stick LBJ |

Yup, Vogel mentioned having more "offensive swag" in that one timeout and asked, "You got those jerseys on, right?" And then AD mentioned the jersey again in his on-court interview. This whole team is infused with The Mentality. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."
