AD has finally arrived at the NBA’s big stage. I really underestimated his clutchness in the playoffs. Doing it in regular season is one thing, but doing this in the conference finals in what Laker legends are made of.

And the f'n guy can score from anywhere! He can play on the perimeter, in the post, back to the basket, left and right wing, long range, doesn't matter! His defense is impeccable. He's a shot calling shot blocker. His efforts are leading him to the prize. A+++++ player. _________________ I miss you Kobe. I miss you Gigi.
I recall arguing the value of AD.
The age of Bron, he needs someone that can help him on D and also allow him to rest on O. This is what AD does.
No other Laker young draft we had - Ingram, Ball etc - could do this. I mean it’s just not simply about adding talented players. Look at the Clippers. Your parts need to mesh and fit.
What AD is basically Wade, Bosh, Love all in one. He’s a dominant 1B option. He’s not a distant 2nd, he’s 1B to 1A. He’s also versatile like Bosh in his prime where he can play multiple big man roles. Then he steps out like a Wade/Kyrie and you can run your offense through him
when Lebron isn’t one. Oh, Then he defends at a DPOTY level.
I didn’t call him the best player in the league for nothing. He really is up there in value for all he does for a team. Even more of a value than Giannis when it comes to playoff basketball. Giannis is better for the RS. I take AD over him in the playoffs.

AD so far has been LeBron’s best teammate. Wade was great for LeBron mentally but AD’s play has helped him in the twilight of his career. He can extend his career. Big night AD. Career shot.

I wonder if we gave up too much for him— Lonzo is the next Magic.

AD was the anchor of a national championship team and won Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four as a freshman. All the guy has done is put up monster numbers every postseason appearance. The only people who didn't think he was clutch in the playoffs never watched his career before he became a Laker. It's not his fault New Orleans didn't have a superstar to pair him with. This is Pau/Memphis 2.0 but AD is even better.
An interesting thought - if we win the chip and AD wins FMVP, where does he rank all-time? In particular compared to the likes of Garnett/Dirk/Barkley/Malone? _________________ #18 next...

Too young to say
Is that completely the case though? Only Dirk would be on his level in regards to chips and FMVPs. I think he gets to the top 35 minimum if he can do that this year
Of course it's a different story if Bron wins FMVP _________________ #18 next...
