If Anthony Day to Davis doesn’t play, no chance the Lakers win this series.

Tough call on if they should hold him out as precaution for game 5. Puts all the pressure on G6.

Or we see a performance from LeBron

Yeah, we'd still have a chance at winning that game. I'd rather not even have to see it but then to add we'd lose the whole series is a bit odd and strange of a statement since the Nuggets would still have to win 2 more in a row after that one.

It's going to be fun seeing these kind of takes for a fourth straight series next week though.

I meant if AD misses more than one game and/or is severely limited.

Any word on his ankle yet?

He told Mike Trudell that the sprain was "bad" but not "too bad", and that he was fine.

He is so delicate. At least 10 times this season. We've gone to commercial break and I thought he was done. Then he ends up playing the rest of the game.
He likes giving Laker fans a heart attack.

Yeah, his reactions to any sort of bump or bruise is worse than the actual bump or bruise. The way he was grabbing his ankles made it seem like a serious high ankle sprain.

It looked (bleep) bad to me. IDK if I rolled my ankle like that I wouldn't be able to continue with the playoffs. Dude seems plenty tough to me

I am sure he is getting 24 hour treatment and will get injections and a nice tape job. I am pretty sure he will play.

I worry about him having this injury constantly because of how high he gets on his jumper. Every time he shoots I find myself looking down at his feet.

For some reason I'm worried every time I see AD in the triple threat position, his stance is crazy WIDE and it feels like his ankles are at such an odd angle.

He has developed a bit of that frown and anger that you know who had.

I think this guy really wants it bad this year. However he is a big, and we need to be careful.

Holding him out would not be the worst idea, unless you really feel he can go and be effective. We have Dwight, McGee and Morris at the 5. We have Morris, Kuzma and Lebron at the 4. We can get by if the role players hit their shots and Lebron puts in a super human effort.

When he grabbed his foot, for about a second i was worried. I was then reminded of who i was watching. He acts like every bump he gets is a missile from north Korea.

Can’t remember a player that gets knocked off balance and awkwardly falls so often every single game. Reminds me watching of a newborn giraffe video.

Always grabbing his wrists and working out the bumps, tweaks and sprains. Kind of amazing he isnt hurt more severely more often.

Hoping this is just more of the same. That he plays tonight and the Lakers are able to end this series. Lakers will need their A game, Davis is a big part of that.

Man, if he had that frown and anger mentality all the time, he would have been in top 10 all time ranks. It’s hard to develop that thou if you are not born with it.

I think ideally, I would like to see him play, but at a reduced role, with the other teammates stepping up. Lebron and AD have been carrying this team the entire playoffs, they owe it to them to be able to step up.

So far when AD has a good game, he kind of disappears the next game, but hopefully he has another good game and closes game 5 out for the Lakers.
