AD is stealing money..paying him all that $$$..plays 2/3 a season every year. Don't see LeBron go down as much as him. Thought putting on the purple and gold would make him tougher..guess not

Nevermind the fact that he has a legitimate injury, he's also never missed 1/3 or more of any season since he came into the league. There's a big difference between playing through pain and playing with an injury that could get worse.

He can play 10 games a year, but if he shows up like he did in the playoffs, it will worth every penny

I hope he’s shooting a lot of free throws in his down time. Get back to being a 80%+ ft shooter

I think you had a typo there, you spelled Kawhi wrong. Also you are one season late

His injury issues are why he can’t be relied on to carry a team as a primary player. The best ability is availability. Luckily LeBron is here.

I wonder if KD will be in the same category, post his injury.

Ok, hater. Where were you during the playoffs and finals when Davis was a monster? Exactly....be quiet.

The Lakers, including Davis, had the shortest offseason in the history of professional sports. Can’t fault a guy for getting injured or being tired in games. You see it with other teams too. Miami, Denver, Milwaukee...are they are killing it? No.....they are tired. So, it’s dumb to say Davis is stealing money.

I think AD should just rest the whole March games, it's an easy schedule anyway.

April schedule though is a tough one.

This is misleading. AD has been relatively healthy the last couple of seasons. I think they are being cautious because he was dinged up in the bubble and is coming off the shortest championship offseason in NBA history.

Since AD was drafted in 2012, he's played in 551 games. Kawhi (2011 draft) has played in 552 games. Yet AD has the injury prone label and Kawhi could be relied upon. Go figure.

Just bring him back when he's 100%. No need to sit him out of additional games.

Who knows, if Utah starts losing games we may have a shot at the #1 seed and an easy first-round opponent.

He missed over 30% of the season his last year in NO. But he was healthy last year and the two prior to his last season in NO.

Kawhi gets knocked for being load managed.

Pels shelved him after the trade deadline to “preserve” their trade asset though. He was ready to play.

I'm all for AD playing hurt and tearing his achilles ... says the only dumas on LG.

Calf injuries are no joke, I suffered a tear that fortunately didn't require surgery. It was 2 months of therapy and then another 2 months to rehab and regain the ability to run. You also have atrophy of the muscle take place.

If AD tears his calf, his season is as good as over.

He should be 100% when he comeback and still play him with minutes restrictions for about 5 games. Lakers need a fully healthy Ad in the playoffs. Once that AD form return, Lakers will be unstoppable.

He's return will depend on our standing after 2 weeks... If we have a nice cushion we need to keep holding him out even if he says he's ready to play.

Basically what the Nets are doing with KD.

Pretty much... Except were in a tougher conference. They doing it with Kyrie too and seems to be just making up injuries to sit him.

Yup, cant believe a minor hamstring strain will take a month recovery period.

KD gets to rest the AS game despite Nash saying he'd be back pre-AS break. Pretty frustrating given Lebron could probably use the rest even more.

LeBron is the main person keeping LeBron from resting tho. He's been adamant that he does not want to.

Then James should rest during the ASG break.

How the League continues to play a mid season exhibition game is ridiculous.

Especially since the “shortest off season ever” has effected multiple teams.

Take a fine, milk an injury, miss his flight, play 1 min of the first practice and claim he has a headache. Do whatever it takes to not waste an ounce of energy on this. Save it for the games that count.
