This forum is hilarious

Losing any of the young guys should not be a deal breaker!

AD is a generational talent. You add him with LeBron. Remember Rondo and AD tore up the playoffs!

You have about $25-30mm this summer. Yeah nice problem!

Is that why Kuz sat out yesterday’s game?

A lot depends on KCP, will he waive his no trade? I would think so, but do they have to offer him an incentive to do so. He’s young enough to win a chip yet. I told my kid we need shooters why would we trade a shooter, but the disappointment KCP has given us so far is ridiculous. He could be averaging 14-16 points a game if he made more wide open threes!

I was starting to like Zu but I guess he's gonna be a goner for sure if we acquired Davis. I would do the trade if it involved only two of Zo, Zu, Kuz, and BI. No deal if they wanted three. I think Foston will offer a better package though. If we can't get Davis, make sure to jack the price up as high as possible for Foston.

I'm fine if we don't make any trades but I'd really like to see a new coach coaching this team, though. I think we have a lot of talents and the problem is almost for certain the coach.

It is near impossible to make a reasonable package without including him.
Is Deng's salary still in the books? Could it be included?
KCP, Rondo, Lance, Beasley, BI, Ball - onlly they have salaries >3 mil.
Kuz, Wagner, Zu, they are being paid so little, it's impossible to make salaries match.

Not worried about the KCP no trade. Maverick will come up in the Klutch, hanging him over a ledge like Suge did to Vanilla Ice.

Yep.

We don't have the most attractive assets; accordingly, we have to give them whatever they want.

This really isn't difficult.

You will wind up keeping at least one or two good pieces, anyway, and whoever that player is (Hart, Ingram, Kuz, Ball, Zubac, etc.) will end up looking great moving around those 2 guys.

It doesn't mean you don't negotiate, it just means that you don't do something dumb and say that one of these guys is "untouchable", when clearly, no one other than Lebron should be untouchable in a trade for AD.

Windhorst is a fat f'ing douche bag. All these mouth pieces will start chirping in order to feel relevant. I am sure the Pels and Davis already said they will keep his desire to go to the Lakers on the down low for everyones benefit.

The coach doesn’t miss any shots, if this current team could shoot we’d be in 2nd or 3rd place, too many bad losses due to lack of effort & confidence!

KCP is a Rich Paul client and was open to a trade to the Suns for more PT. He would instantly start in the backcourt next to Jrue if traded.

My package would be BI, Kuz, KCP, Zu and Picks to get this done. We could keep Hart and Zo.

Zo/Rondo
Hart/Lance
Lebron/Svi
AD/Beasley/Wagner
McGee/Chandler

That’s what I think too. But I see melo coming here with AD behind him to cover up his weankesses he could be valuable off the bench. Sorry svi

Klutch got KCP his big contract. Klutch should be able to convince KCP to waive his no trade clause.

Kuzma or Ingram, hart, zu,kcp, and 1st. Also lebron will offer a number switch back to 6 so AD can wear 23.

Offense comes and goes but defense can be consistent. The Lakers sometimes could play shutdown defense but they only want to do it every few games or after a couple of losses. So the defensive talent is there, It's just they're not focused all the time and that's all on the coach.

Which offer would be better? (It can't be the Celtics until the summer).

Why would the Pels not wait until summer then? They have no reason or pressure to trade him until all the best offers are on the table, which includes Boston. Why not wait for the inevitable bidding war. This also hurts the Lakers because all the one year contracts are now free agents.

Pels have no business incentive to trade before then. It is the Lakers that will likely be desperate not the Pels.

It doesn't mean that Boston isn't currently negotiating.

If a better Boston deal will be available after July 1, then they are happy to wait.

People overstate the significance of July 1. Everyone knows what the Celtics have on their roster. If the Pelicans prefer a hypothetical Celtics package, then they will wait.

But, if they think a better deal is available now than the Celtics will offer in the summer, then there is no real benefit to waiting until July 1.

Why in the hell would any team grant him a no-trade clause?

It may be because they signed him to one-year deals in consecutive seasons.

Both work under the cap. I prefer keeping Zubac out of this if we can. I like AD and Z at the PF and C spots if we go big...

Yeah, I guess it only works if KCP waives his no trade (how do you give a no trade to a one year contract) hope this guy doesn’t hold things up, I’d like to keep Kuz...
if kcp is smart. he waives that clause. talks to bron and clutch sports. and basically says this under the table. I'll waive it, but you have to wink wink promise me the lakers will pick me up again for another 1 year mini deal so i can get to the finals with yall. i deserve it for being here doing the down times.

This is it. Gut the team if you have to.

Anyone but Bron. We’ve got 3 years left to compete.

The NBA players are a tight knit community. AD has demanded a trade, if they hold him hostage until the celts can deal its their right, but good luck signing a big name FA over the next 5 years. They are within their rights to do that, but they will need to weigh the pros and cons of holding one of the most popular and liked players hostage.

Magic and the FO suck. They will never be able to sign a FA because nobody wants to come here. We have no talent and we will never be able to pull off a trade. Nobody wants our players........Yada yada yada. Get the crow out.
