AD just seems like a good, hard-working dude, to go along with his prodigious talent. So glad to have him here. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

He's number 1 IMO, but I wouldn't say "not even close". Isaac, Giannis, Gobert are in the conversation... |

AD is leading the team in points, rebounds, blocks, steals, FT%
Guy’s amazing and he’s doing it pretty quietly. |

His defensive FG% is also incredible. Yesterday, players shot 1-9 on him.
Can not wait for a moment in the season where we send out Dwight, AD, Green, Caruso and Bradley out there. That lineup will contest everything. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6Rz0TSprFc |

Our big 2 are beasting
Early returns on the AD & LeBron pairing...is that its working. The team in 25 minutes per has a offensive rating of 113.2 and defensive rating of 100.3 (+12.9 Net) when they share the floor. All three of those numbers would rank 1st league wide.

Here are some Anthony Davis shot profile quirks.
1) A large % of shots are still coming from midrange (42%) however that is slightly the lowest mark of his career.
2) 16% of his shots are coming from 3, his highest rate yet. And after a slow start, is shooting a career best %

The link also says that he gets fouled on 13.5% on his shot attempts, the lowest of his career. Maybe fewer midrange jumpers and more inside play will increase that, but that also takes more energy, which could affect the rest of his game.
I think he should shoot even more threes per game. It will impact his own game and others positively, increasing spacing, reducing the risk of injury and saving some energy by not banging inside. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |

Pretty sure AD would be shooting at least 55-60% from the field if he stopped shooting that turnaround fade-away in the mid post he settles for far too much.
That’s just nit picking right now though. He will need to be more efficient against the better teams we will be playing very soon, but it’s been more than sufficient up to this point. And of course he has been the DPoY up to this point, and there’s no one in the same league as he is in that end right now. |

Not if LBJ openly campaigns for him and has his mouthpieces like SAS talk up AD MVP |

Pretty awesome. Talk about Dudley being well respected and everyone listens him.
And talk about DeMarcus influence. |

AD, LBJ, GA are all at the top w/ LD lurking in the shadows. |

Dudley was well respected on Brooklyn last year and was credited with helping their young guys develop. Seems like a great locker room guy. |

Very doubtfyul. The media chatter is already starting with Lebron as the MVP. If the team continues to play like this I think it goes to Lebron and DPOY goes to AD. _________________ (bleep) those 2 guys. Onward! |

Luka definitely will be in the discussion, as will Harden. Lebron and Davis will likely steal votes from each other. _________________ Lennon lives |

Lebron is not coming close to winning MVP this year. This 17-3 sample is as good as it gets for him.
I don’t think AD will get it either unless there is a massive push and he becomes more assertive offensively at the end of games.
Giannis/LD/Harden are playing on a different planet right now. A planet our guys are not even on. |

With those three, whoever's team has the best record at season's end will take the MVP. Statistically, they are blowing everyone else out of the water.
Honestly, couldn't care less if Bron and AD are in the MVP hunt as long as they have a higher level they go to in the playoffs. Just like last year. Who cares about Giannis' MVP when Kawhi kicked it to the next gear when it really counted. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Seems like Jovic has a hard time with AD.
When he guards AD, seems like AD is too fast for him.
When AD guards him, he can’t seem to overpower AD.
Surprised by this I taught guys like Jovic would give the Lakers a hard time. |

ADs defense tonight.
I tell you, having a player in the clutch who can defend like him.
It is an unreal asset. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6Rz0TSprFc |
