Me neither. Everything about how he forced his way here to having his pops dare Ainge to trade for him, to even the timing of his demand where The Cbags couldn’t even enter trade talks (due to Ky being a designated player they already traded for)....all of it screams that dude wants to
stay teamed up with Bron as a Laker....but we know all too well that free agency is a son of a (bleep). So tell the ink dries, AD better be saying and doing all the right thing to keep my nerves at ease.

Davis is having an amazing season so far. His defensive efforts set the tone for the team and his clutch shooting has already been the difference in a couple close games. Glad to see him playing consistently better then expected.
Team has a special chemistry that should be enough to keep him interested in re-signing. The only small chance I see him not is the other side of that same coin. This roster chemistry.
This team is likely a 1-2 year run. How long of a contract does Davis sign? Year to year? A couple years with an out? Two years s from now who knows what the roster looks like or hw good/bad the chemistry is?
I’m just going to focus on this year. Watch Davis dominate (like an MVP?) on both ends, James have a “see I got something left” MVP resurgence and a roster of role players enjoying their roles and winning.
Championship or Bust this year because we have no clue what the future holds.

This year shows Pelinka knows what he's doing. There IS some sort of plan for 2021 - likely with a Plan B.
Rob has earned the benefit of the doubt in my book. I'm now worried about the "how," I'm confident that he will get it done. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

AD is tougher and more physical than I expected. Especially on D. Big oafs like Jokic and Olynyk tried to bully him down low and he still prevented them from scoring at point blank range. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Of course there is a plan A, plan B and so on. But plans fail or need to be changed as conditions change. Just the last 2-3 years of changing Laker plans stand as an example. Or the plans of the Clips, OKC or Knicks as other unexpected plans.
This years team is exceeding my expectations by a mile. All the pieces are falling into place so far and I’m loving the results every game. Respect to FO , coaches and players for the efforts /results so far.
Just not getting ahead of my expectations. Awesome first third of the season. Im just focusing on and enjoying this season and I’ll worry about next year, next year.

Why not just enjoy what u currently have instead of worrying what might happen in 6 months?

How Y'all like watching AD abusing smaller defenders in the post
He's better than Pau? Well...
Pau did a great job against prime Dwight in the 09 Finals, and Pau took on the front line of Garnett, Wallace, and Pierce in game 7 of the finals of 10. He was a huge reason we beat FOSTON.
I understand you're saying Skillwise, but Pau proved his worth in 2 finals. AD does the same to say Greek Freak or Embiid in the finals, then I'd say he'd surpassed him

AD is like Pau on steroids.
AD is MUCH more athletic, aggressive and a MUCH better rim protector.
And this is coming from someone who always appreciated Pau and still feels he's underrated and underappreciated by Lakers fans as a whole. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers

Davis certainly is better. Not trying to bring down Pau Gasol.
Offensively not below Pau. Defensively, whoa. DPOY dude.
Besides, AD can spread the floor better with his threes. _________________ Kobe's Top 5 Dunks, 81 points, MJ last gm @Staples

I'd sit him Tuesday. bring Kuz back.. if they lose they'll be inspired for Thurs.
Would do the same. In fact sit him out for a week or 2 and take some Ls in the process. His health is more important than running the juggernaut.
Shut him down til Xmas so he can beast on the Clippers. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."
