Isn't Kuzma more than good enough as a third option anyway? |

I would try to get Brogdon for 20 million. Then get Pat Beverley for 8 million.
You can probably get Bullock and another player for the RME. |

I like Beverly and Bullock. | That is a solid idea. But, imo Beverly is going to cost a bit more than people realize. He is an all NBA defender that could shoot the three at a high rate. If we strike out on a max player, Beverly (3 years/ 45 million), Lopez (3 years/ 24 million) and Bullock (3 years/ 24 million) would be solid. |

If you can sign Kawhi with the 3rd max slot, then do it.
If you can't then use the money on a few different guys; considering who is left after KL, don't spend it all on just one player. |

3rd Max if same age range as AD (Kawhi/Kyrie). This ensures our contention post LeBron. Near term you can stock up on ring chasers and the eventual buyout market that happens every year. Mid-term you can use the annual MLe to re-stock higher level talent. |

I'd prefer reliable role players like Pat Bev to fill the roster out around Davis and LeBron. |

I feel Patrick Beverly is going to be our new Marcus Banks albeit he's much better. |

I agree Kawhi is the only free agent I would max and fill with whatever money is left |

I'd rather have a 3rd max player. If we dont have max money and are left with $29 million, I'd want to spread it around between Bogdonovic, Brook Lopez, and one of Collison/Beverley. |

It's a tough call... Depth is important to reduce overall minutes for the stars... having a 3rd star, though, would allow the stars to rotate who takes nights off or takes lighter nights. _________________ "We got a new universe coming and he's going to control all our universes. In the words of Tiger Woods, I'd rather hit it 20 yards farther than everyone else, and then figure it out from there. |

I'm with you Kawhi has so much value on the defensive end where your sacrificing defense with Kyrie and Kemba for the same money and I wouldn't max Butler |

3rd max
We didn't trade our youth to open up cap space for role players. |

We need depth. We don't need a 3rd max because you would be sacrificing the depth you still need. So get a point guard that can distribute and shoot. Get a 3 and d at the 2-3 positions. Get another big off the bench. It's going to take most if not all of our salary cap to accomplish only that. |

Third max if it is Kawhi, Irving or maybe Jimmy B. Depth otherwise, with an overpay of $20 million to Brogdon topping the list (while adding Danny Green and B. Lopez). |

We need perimeter defense and perimeter shooting. Tbh we don’t need another superstar. Patrick beverley is a must get!!! We can throw him a Top steph, Harden, Dame, And ecspecially WB, we know they love each other haha. Next would be a slasher/ scorer from the wing, we have Kuzma but with LBJ and Davis is going to be nice to have guys who cut and can hit the open 3. Terrance Ross I like them for a vet contract Trevor Ariza. Then if we can find a way to get a Brook Lopez or Nikola Miritoc we should be set. Then look at guys like Zach Randolph, Wayne Ellington, Andre Igudola, Rajon Rondo, Robin Lopez. Both Lopez brothers would be pretty epic.
Beverley - Rondo
Ross - Ellington
James - Ariza
Kuzma - Wagner
Davis - Lopez
Down with this. Maybe start Lopez and make Kuzma the 6 man |

We traded our previous youth to open up a max slot.
We traded the remaining youth besides Kuz for anthony davis.
AD or not shouldn't change the slot's original goal since it didn't come cheap. |

We dumped the guy once, he has been vocal that the Clippers are better than the Lakers. I don’t think he is a fan. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

KL? Yeah, you gotta do it if you can.
Kyrie? Not sure he's a max player at this point, but incredibly hard to turn down.
Jimmy, Kemba? Would rather us get high end complementary players and put together a squad that can deal with Denver and Houston on both ends of the floor.
We went from utterly embarrassing to a top 4 squad in 6 weeks...can you imagine being Ty Lue right now? Or Frank Vogel for that matter...

Those are 3 dudes that are damn hard to gamble on Kyrie for IMO.
Our Window is really 2 years...gotta get one next year.
Definitely need another facilitator so Bron doesnt have to dominate the ball every game. _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

For Kawhi, that's a no brainer , you've got to do it. For Butler and Kemba, I would rather go with depth. As for Kyrie, the guy has a problem being second fiddle to Lebron when he was in Cleveland, if he joins us he would be the third guy behind Bron and AD, don't know if he would be happy and that's a potential for friction. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

You win with stars. You can find bargain bin guys who can compete with well-paid roleplayers. Just look at last year, best of the roleplayer vet signings was JaVale, the lowest paid of the bunch. |
