We all know AD has worn 23 for his whole career but with LBJ wearing that number, he’s going to have to wear a new number. If you guys ever played NBA 2k19 and traded AD to the Lakers they always have him 43, 41, sometimes 54. I think he’s going to choose number 1. I think that number fits him well and will sell imo. Are there any rumors to his new number ?

What do you guys see him wearing ? What number do you want him to wear ?

I think Lebron should give up 23 and go back to 6 as a show of appreciation.

Set the tone early. Kick in the door, walk up to James and loudly proclaim “there is a new boss in town. give me my damn number”!

Actually, it also makes business sense to Bron (for him to switch away from 23)

This would be my choice if he decides to go high. 21 is my favorite number and I wouldn’t be mad at all

Lol no. James would be a dick to do that. So many people bought 23 and for him to change it and now Davis wears 23. Jerseys are not cheap. Plus be nice to see AD wear a new number. I really hate when players wear 23. That number should be retired in general. I see Davis in 00, 1, or 21

21 has a chance to be retired if Michael Cooper is inducted into Hall of Fame

That’s true

LeBron already sold millions of #23 jerseys. Davis will get a different number.

if not for Elgin Baylor....I would suggest #22 since there are Catch 22 elements of this trade.....but since it is taken, have some guts and go with #69....or even #2 to piss off Lavar.

I always thought Lebron should go back to #6 after leaving Cleveland again regardless of AD. I think his career will always be defined as what happened in Cleveland and what happened outside Cleveland. Same way I think Shaqs will always be what happened in LA and what happened outside LA.

23.1
The NBA is starting decimal points next season due to the Lakers retiring too many Jerseys. They prefer a decimal point over 3 digit numbers.

Andddddd... the serious answer.

LeBron should change his # like Kobe. Its a pure marketing $$$ move. Sell tons more Jerseys moving to a new #.
