What do you guys think the lakers brass would do if we somehow got the lucky bounce that the Pelicans got and nabbed #1 in the draft lottery?
No way we would trade a generational talent like Zion to quench Lebrons win now mentality would we?
What would we do? Would we just add Zion to the mix with the other young guys and let the chips fall as they may?

ye we would've traded it too

it would have made matching salary slightly easier, that's it. in order to trade for AD and sign another max player, ingram, lonzo and the pick had to go

I don't see it. No way we trade Zion I don't see it as there is no way that Jeannie would be able to stomach the negative pr backlash that would come with that move

AD was a better prospect than Zion and is already a legit elite tier player. There's no guarantee Zion even gets as good as AD.
I'd do a straight up trade of Zion for AD + their top 8 first rounder all day every day
