I loved AC, but if it really came down to THT v. AC, they made the right call.

THT is not the culprit here as it's WB's 44m contract that made signing AC = 40m in salary + luxury hits.

Once LeBron and Davis negotiated the deal with Russ, and Klutch asked for the Arenas Max for Tucker, the roster salary structure was set. They delivered Nunn for $5m, which helped (or it eventually will).

This THT at the 3 BS needs to stop. Let him play the 2 and do his best Bean impersonation possible.

It's not his fault Rob didn't get enough forwards on the team. Give the young man his best chance to succeed.

he does have length and speed at the 3. Just not height.

THT bodying up Giannis sticks in my mind like Bynum's reverse spin and dunk on Shaq. Fearless, and also show Vogel is stupid. Where was Dwight last night to body up Giannis?

Not only did THT body up and hold his ground against Giannis but he contested well w/o jumping.....Giannis ended up making the shot but it was a tough contest. THT did exactly the same thing to Thaddeus Young and forced a miss. Dude is 6 fking 3 that can guard 1-5. His freakish length and strength to go along with his progressing skills has the potential for longevity that is less reliant on raw athleticism. His game will age well. Speaking of game, I can see it starting to slow down for him...and he's still only 20. Once that mid-range and 3 ball becomes consistent, the league is in trouble. Did I mention he's only 20?

AD rarely passes back out to a 3 point shooter or slasher. Wish he had the Joker’s skills.

Philly would hang up the phone. Would take a lot more than that. But yes, I would do that trade straight up before Morey sobers up.

I'm surprised he didn't develop more of a left hand during the injury. That should have forced him to strengthen that. Heck his coaches growing up should have saw this weakness and fixed it right away.

The main thing I want to see from THT is more nuance to his game, can't be all drive all the time. Show me the pull up midrange, show me more confidence in the deep jumper. That would open up his game a ton.

Coaching for Lakers sucks. THT is wasted sitting on the corner to create space. How about having him set a screen with a Lebron or Russ? A pick and roll doesn’t only have to be with a big.

He did at least a couple times last season because I remember there being a huge deal about it happening finally.

He also supposedly worked on it quite a bit during the season last year and during this last off season so it's a work in progress. I agree though that it can't happen soon enough and will take his game to another entire level if he is consistently good with it.

It's one of those things where we just need to give him more time.. Reaves is 3 years older then him and a Rookie just to put it all in perspective. He's shown clear improvement every season thus far and the shot looks much better this season even on the misses so that's a good sign.
