Still lacks explosiveness but again, he's 19. Sort of a DLO style sneaky slithering towards the rim but he has better body control.

I'm still intrigued by the kid. And I think this offseason he will put in a lot of work and be a rotation player by next season.

Dlo was a better shooter but THT much better at penetrating (pause)

Yeah, for sure. THT does use that non-athletic slithering that DLO had to use b/c of his minus athleticism. I'm really intrigued.

He looks like he made a ton of changes to his body in 4 months. And kids from age 19-22 can have dramatic changes to their bodies so I'm still optimistic.

I see more Kyrie* in THT as a slasher than DLo. Better first step and body control. More comfortable finishing with both hands at the same age (than DLo).

* stylistically only

Yes, but speedier and those Go Go Gadget arms are a unique tool.

I wish he would be more Andre Miller (physical) and use his post base to wart off guys and get FTr.

He's wide and slithers around, but needs to be the guy that initiates contact, especially without a consistent jumper.

Missed the last two games, and I understand it's an EXTREMELY low sample size, but are the rough outlines of a future rotation player there? If he just makes it to that level, that's a win for a 2nd rounder.

From his G-League highlights alone, you can just tell he's probably not going to bust out of the league like a lot of other past late picks we got hyped about early on, with his unique physical talent and skills. In his debut a few games ago, his ability to get to the rim stood out. "Slither" is a pretty good word to describe it.

THT has made nice progress in the last year. Still very green and a lot of skill development necessary. But if he continues on his current development trajectory, we will have a nice player on our hands.

Give him one more year to fully develop and he can definitely contribute on a regular basis. In two-three years, I can see him being a starter on a good NBA team.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious and clear he's nowhere close to being ready to play on a Playoff level team yet. Nothing wrong with that though as he just barely got his first NBA points a couple games ago and has shown some very good flashes which is all you can hope for in a late pick.

I think by next season at some point he could be a solid bench player if he goes hard in the off season.

Like him better than Waiters already. Can slash and finish just as good as Waiters and seems to be a much better 3pt shooter.

His skills are transferring from the G League to the NBA. The drives, ball handling, and now the 3 ball. Don’t underestimate what Phil Handy can do with a talented and hungry young player. His body is quite different bin just 4 months. He is a hard worker.

He's going through the transition period of G-League speed to NBA speed.

I'm not worried about him. I was always confident in the skillset by age. Now it's just getting acclimated to game speed.

His greatest potential is on the ball as the primary offensive initiator. He has some Luka / Deron Williams in is game and I hope he is given the chance to show it.
