Kid can play. He should get minutes this season, looks ready to contribute as a rotation player.

Probably making opening night roster with Caruso hurt. Not sure what minutes are available for ZN Jr with such a plethora of options at sg though.

Which is fine. He seems like a hardworking kid, but the Lakers days of relying on undersized hustle Cs are (hopefully) over.

yeah, he's just not good enough to drop Boogie's playoff hope. Maybe that Justin Anderson guy or Iguodala

Boogie, Daniels, and Rondo would be my cut guys if it came down to it. If AD really is so enamored of Cousins and Rondo, Daniels may be the guy to go if Iggy gets released.

Heck, Norvell may end up being as good or better than Daniels this season.

If anyone has to go, it has to be Boogie. Doesn’t make sense to keep an injured player over a contributing player when your trying to have a title run. But luckily, we still have 1 roster spot available to work with at the moment.

Where and when?
We have 20 (19 after Allen cut), we have to cut 2 more and 0 roster spot available.

Really love his potential. They need to hang on to him for as long as they can.

Iggy via buyout or trading someone like KCP.

Don’t give up young players.

makes no sense to keep Jared Dudley

offers nothing

out of shape, too slow to guard 3's, too unathletic and small to guard 4's

that would open up a slot

Bro don't even say this again.

Dudley is the 1 guy we can't afford to lose. His attitude, leadership and even HIGH modern bball Iq are necessary. When he is in the game he makes no mental mistakes and swings the ball the right way.... I like dudley aAALOT. Obvioulsy you don't want to play him but we need him on that bench.

Talking out my rear on this... But would Memphis take KCP and a south bay Laker for iggy? Can we throw cash at Memphis to offset KCP's larger contract?

Yeah, Pope inexplicably has a no trade clause... But why would he stubbornly stay on a team that doesn't want him. Heck, I bet even some of the players would like "just go man".

Norvell is on a 2-way contract totally separate from the 15-man roster limit.

They would take first round picks for Iggy.

novell is on a 2 way contract. why in the world would we want to use him on another roster spot. of course unless he is significantly better than green, kcp and the the other guards.

our roster is extremely deep. he can come play with the big club when injuries occur. let him earn his chance in the development league. i am sure there are things he can learn on ball handling, decision making and defense assignments.

Agree that Dudley doesn’t move the needle, but why do we need to open up a roster spot?

We don't have enough depth at the 3/4 to cut Dudley.

I don’t think he commands more than 1 first round pick. And nobody is in a rush to give them that.

Agree, no more than one first rounder for Iggy. Which is why I doubt he is traded anytime soon, I don’t think that he is worth a first rounder.

If I had my say, I would go with him over Pope, have him fight for minutes with Green.
