he also shows NBA range
I can see him in the Channing Frye role |

Seems like a decent pick-up in terms of his ability to shoot and possibly be a versatile defender. |

Really nice pickup for an UDFA - kind of a Thon Maker-esque situational unicorn big. _________________ Under New Management |

He shoots like Robert Horry but is more fluid. |

Any of you believe he might be able to play a few minutes at back up center? |

He weighed in light at his combine, 210ish. And has motor problems. I like him even more than Norvell as a project.. in a couple years he and AD playing together would block everything in sight |

KIROE, between Kostas and Holman, who do you think is the better player? |

Holman is better now and I'll take him as a prospect right now. Kostas has odd pro's and cons, that functionally/tangibly just swing negative - even projection wise. He can dribble a bit and do a euro step, but he'll be playing Center; would rather him be able to shoot...and he's super duper skinny. And he's athletic in some ways but a baby giraffe in others...lateral mobility being a flaw, leaping off one leg being a flaw.
Holman is simple, shoot 3s and block shots.. and a good passer as an ancillary skill. tangible pluses |

Wait a minute, I was randomly browsing the trends and came across this. Plus 40% from 3!!! Is this guy for real or it is too early to use him at a Laker?
Can this guy make the Lakers now? Or is that too hopeful? Is it possible he can play backup center and the stretch center we been looking for?
There is talk of the Lakers considering taking Dwight back, but maybe they should wait to see what this guy can do at camp? |

At worst case, they can get him on the Southbay Lakers and see how he progresses after college _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

I honestly felt he had a chance to make a team this year if we signed Kawhi and all we had left to fill out our roster was the exception (Avery) and min contract guys that there would be room on the roster for him win a spot as a stretch 4.
But now there is no chance for this season as we already filled up our roster. I just hope no other team poaches him from the G League team. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |
