A KL/Butler pairing seems inevitable, as Kawhi wants to play with Butler and the Clippers are making that happen
However, KL doesn't trust Clipper management based on what has happened with past stars, and Butler isn't on par with Lebron and AD. Lastly, Kawhi's family wants him in the purple and gold
Rumors are crazy on both sides.
What happens? |

Lakers is the most logical choice of all three and thats the hope, but sometimes decision can be emotional bound, and unfortunately I may have to guess Kawhi going to Raptors. He appears to me a really sentimental guy. |

He’d be totally forfeiting future winning potential for the immediate future to sign with the Raptors again _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview |

Only picking the Lakers because it makes the most sense.
Had he spent his entire career so far in TOR, I would feel differently. |

Yes.
He controls the balance of power in the league, as they say.
But here's the deal. The one place where he can go and ensure that his team dominates in the Lakers.
The other locations simply provide "balance". _________________ Don't feed the trolls. |

Who tf picked the clippers. That’s literally a gamble choice. There’s been no connections to the clippers.
70% Lakers
25% Raptors
5% Clippers |

Let's all just take a moment to appreciate the simple fact that he won't be on the Popovich Spurs again. That said, Lakers! |

this poll is SOOO much different than the one on RealGM. That poll has the raptors winning by a landslide _________________ "Friends can come and go, but banners hang forever" -KOBE |

That’s because half the users on RealGM are Raptor fans.

It's got to be the Lakers. How can you resist this legacy he has a chance to create in L.A. donning purple and gold?
20 years from now no one will remember the raps even won a title except for Canadians.
They will remember how Kawhi came to the Lakers and restored order after the worse playoff drought in Laker history. And eventually return rings and glory back to the Lakers.
It's not even what he can create while Lebron is here. It's beyond that, he could truly be the next Kobe (the way he is praised) in a sense |

I'll say that he ends up in Toronto.
At this point, it just seems like he's playing games. There is no reason for it to be taking this long.
He's from So. Cal. but maybe he wants to go back to Toronto. He knows that the Lakers are running out of time because the AD trade will most likely happen tomorrow and a max cap slot will go with it if the trade happens first. That would mean he has an easy out: no max deal = no Kawhi.
He doesn't want to say it though because he lives here in the offseason and is worried about the backlash he'll face if he says no to the Lakers.
I can't really figure out another reason why he can't make up his mind. |

No option for "who cares at this point. Can it just be announced so Lakers fans can see the rest of the players signed to make a whole team?" _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...
Time for the Lakers to create a whole new legacy! We want 10 more trophies boys! |

I don't think Miami is on Kawhi's list. Butler signed with the Heat. I'm banking on Kawhi wanting to come home. He was born in Los Angeles.

The Dodgers will sign him before the August 31st deadline to be eligible to make the MLB postseason roster. |

I would not wait for him, he knows the Lakers have a deadline and that their available Cap space reduces, Lakers should tell him when they need to know by and then move on.
I'm very happy with LeBron and LeBrow and to allow LeKawhi to play us is ridiculous!
Lakers should take that open cap space and sign, whoever they can, including:
Cousins
Marcu Morris
McGee
KCP
Rondo
Kenneth Faried
justin Holiday
Nando de Colo
Quinn Cook
Trey Burke
Gortat
I'm tired of letting Kawhi play us, when there is a 2/3 chance he signs elsewhere anyway... Maybe giving him a time limit will MOVE HIM OFF THE POT...! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |
