I like Troy, seems like a good dude. Would hate to see him get waived but I do think he is the likely candidate. Weird because I think the Lakers never really gave him a chance to show what he can do. He can be a deadly 3 point threat. I can see Houston picking him up and throwing him right into the fire if he is waived

Agreed. Jared Dudley said Troy was the best shooter on this Lakers team, not Danny Green, not KCP. Too mad Troy never got much shine.

So I assume Troy is still eligible to play tonight with the Lakers?

Woj: Lakers will waive G Troy Daniels, agent Mark Bartelstein of
@PrioritySports tells ESPN. Two sides had been working together to find a solution that will give Daniels an opportunity elsewhere, and also give Lakers an open roster spot into March.

So long Trey...it’s like we never knew you.

Btw: if Trey signs on with a contender, he’s eligible to make their playoff roster. Also since he’s a vet min, he can be scooped up off waivers to retain non-bird rights for the team picking him up.

Frank Vogel says Troy Daniels was a good locker room fit and performed when he was on the court, but fell victim to a rotation populated by experienced players. The Lakers worked closely with his agent to part on the best terms.

Classy. It’s not easy, big time pressure market.

Hopefully he finds his shot in a less pressure filled environment. He’s a good dude.

His tweet struck me as odd. As if it were a decision that he was making for himself. Oh well best of luck Troy.

Fantastic to see FO being aggressive to get better. Morris was a great pickup. Now we need one more. Perhaps Waiters is that guy.

I am guessing we told him in the 1st meeting that if he shows up on the 2nd at is in certain condition, we'll sign him.

I believe he was talking about his decision to sign here in the first place, but I could be wrong.

Ah! That would make much more sense. I probably read it too quickly and read it wrong. Thanks kindly.

His D didn’t give him much chance. He got to work on moving his feet. All the best Layups.

Look on talent, gotta be honest, there's options out there that will be an upgrade on Daniels. Great shooter but not much else

Wish him all the best, seemed to be well liked around the team

Good move. Waiving him tomorrow to sign Waiters or other would be cruel. If nobody pans out they can offer to re-sign him.

Bucks have too many SG's. I think the only top 8 team in the West & East that is in need of a back up SG are the Celtics and Thunder.
