I laughed when Jonathan Isaac literally erased him from existence but hes been great any time he gets a chance to play. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good |

Dudley is gonna be huge for us in the playoffs, I can already vision him making clutch plays for us. |

Well, during our first championship, under Shaq and Kobe in 1999-2000, I had more trust in Ron Harper and Brian Shaw down the stretch than either Glen Rice or Devean George. I may have the same feeling about Dudley vs Kuzma this year. |

Glen Rice gets a bad rap sometimes. He was like 40% from 3 during our playoff run that year. I'd love it if Kuz could manage to get to that level this postseason. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

My problem with Rice was that he just didn't have enough IQ on both ends of the floor, and when his shots weren't falling he just couldn't manage to bring anything else, especially in the playoffs. And don't get me started on Devean George - he had all the tools to be a perennial All NBA defensive first team. |

Sounds like a better-shooting Kuz. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Jared Dudley last 2 Games:
On Court - 38 mins
OffRtg: 102.7
DefRtg: 89.3
NetRtg: +13.4
The drop off between Dudley & Kuz has not been great if at all. Dudley’s superior defense & knockdown ability fits perfectly into being a role player worthy of more mins alongside LBJ & AD

Do us all a favor Duds, next time you see Beverley deck him. Hard.
Thanks in advance from every Laker fan |

Dudleys interviews are classic. Saw it postgame. His comments on guarding Luka
I knew to stay in front of him. Don’t let him hit 3s and don’t foul him because we know he flops on half of the plays!
Lol. |

Once we get a better backup PG I hope rondo accepts his role as graciously and professionally as Dudley. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Dudley is the perfect vet. Guy can get 10 DNP's in a row and still come out and produce. We really needed his size and rebounding in this situation. I was nearly panicking when the refs went into full f the Lakers mode and Howard and McGee both had to sit. Dudley was a calming force when LeBron shifted to the 5. Knew all the plays. Played D. Got rebounds. Hit a couple of shots. All like he had been on the court all game. That is worth 2.6 million. |

The Glenn Rice hate lives on. It's like PJ is on LG. We don't get the party started without Glenn Rice. Also screwing Glenn Rice on his promised deal caused West to resign. It may have been the right choice for Buss (becaue of PJ) but it was still bs. He was instrumental in 2000. He could hit threes and get Shaq the ball whenever he wanted (often.) The Lakers were dominant in 2000, and Rice was a big reason why. |

It’s hate, but real hate. Kuz was great in the first half but faded when the pressure was on. Dudley (and Vogel) won this game for us without wearing out LeBron. I’d still take Dudley in the playoffs over Kuz at this point, just like I would take Shaw and Harper over Rice back in the days. |
