Let’s not slander his greatness on the court, just his FO tenure and post FO drama.
He first slanders Rob, Jeanie, and the Lakers organization. He then leaks Kawhi conversations to the media which turns KL off per Chris Carter.
This guy is a disgrace to our modern Lakers. We need Kobe and LeBron to be the face of our great organization and not look to the past heroes who only bring us down.

Magic is an unmitigated disaster who forcefully interjected himself on a reasonably decent rebuilding Laker team.
He messed us up and then being an egotistical moron. He wont admit he messed up. Instead, he constantly causes more harm and refuses to just go away

I'm past Kawhi. He had his chance to sign here and refused. Same with PG.
What I can't get over is Magic gifting Zubac to the Clippers for a pile of rocks. McGee vs Zubac at the 5 is pretty balanced. McGee plus Zubac at the 5 combined with AD at the 4 vs. no center on the Clippers would have created a huge advantage for the Lakers. |

I agree with both posts, if magic had kept his mouth shut and been a damn professional in the least #2 could have never used him and the FO instability as an excuse to choose the dippers

He just had shoulder surgery. He could not win with Westbrook. He is a good player but not great. The media is stating he is in the top 10. I don't think so. Trust me, he is not a marquee player. I rather have Kyle Lowry |

Lets also not forget how Magic treated Randle and DLO.
He came in as a wrecking ball and treated both horribly for no reason.
By pissing off Mintz, he cost us PG.
If we had signed PG instead of LeBron, we probably would have had Kawhi now.
Also, could have kept more of our young assets.
Instead, Magic turned our team over to Rich Paul

| Worst front office person in nba history. Impressive. Magic needs to go the (bleep) away. Short of some heinous felony, I never thought Magic could get me to dislike him. Then The whole debacle happened where he resigned with no notice to anyone and trashed the entire team on his way out the door. Now I’m starting to actually hate him with his stupid mouth that he can’t keep shut. Go away Magic, at least for a few months, so I can start to remember your greatness as a player and not your ability to (bleep) over a team I love with your front office ineptitude. |

I get that people are upset over what happened tonight and it's easy to wanna blame someone for it, but this didn't happen because of Magic. Carter said his leaks "didn't help." It wasn't the sole reason or even the primary reason why Kawhi chose the Clippers. To frame this as Magic's screw up just wouldn't be fair to what Carter actually said. The Lakers rightfully went for the big fish and it didn't pay off. It happens. But it wasn't because of Magic.
