I actually think no one has mentioned J. Kidd.
I guess we really have embraced him as an assistant coach.

Christian Laettner  - remember back in the day where it was between him or Samaki Walker, to become our starting PF next to Shaq (we wanted to load manage Horry's minutes)
Googs is a good one that I forgot about. We were rumored to trade Eddie Jones to half of the league back then
Jalen Rose's name was also tossed around before Chicago overpaid him
Juwan Howard before he signed with Dallas for the MLE
A lot of us wanted Leandro Barbosa, including Ron Harper, who was trying to tell Phil about him back then. In a move that this current FO would certainly approve of, we ended up selecting Brian Cook instead 
I was apart of the folks that wanted Raymond Felton during the 2005 Draft. We were split between Felton, Danny Granger, Gerald Green and Andrew Bynum  This was every bit as intense as Okafor vs. Russell a few years back
