and just kept his mouth shut to let Kawhi/Clippers go to work? Or do you think that Clippers/Kawhi ran such a tight ship that no word got out period? |

No, I don't think he knew specifically that the Clips were going after PG.
But I do believe he knew that KL was recruiting others to play with him somewhere other than the Lakers. |

I mean..it took an 11th hour blockbuster trade to solidify LAC. Kawhi’s team was telling us to delay the trade 2 hours before he committed to the Clippers. The only issue is Laker fans were delusional about LAC’s candidacy and assumed Woj was a fraud because he didn’t tell them what they wanted to hear. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

It was obvious that something was up as there was no reason for Kawhi to take so long to make a decision. |

yet this scenario was virtually un-discussed in the national media, the silence was eerie. the only person who even mentioned the possibility was Windhorst, who is a lebron guy |

Of course I do. How many minutes after the Kawhi announcement was the woj bomb announcing the PG trade? _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Who said Woj is a fraud?
He clearly has an agenda and supports players/teams that feed him info. |

Don’t know if you’ve read the board in the last month but there was a loud contingent convinced that Woj was on Ballmer’s payroll (because a guy on reddit told them) and was propping up the Clippers (who had no shot at Kawhi) as a favor. Woj was deemed unreliable while reddit/twitter “insiders” were the real reporters. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

I thought Kawhi was trying to hurt the Lakers in Free Agency and then would join the Clippers or Toronto. FA's are making decisions on July 1st. He knew where he wanted to be right away. |

I've read that stuff. Of course it's a possibility although would be tough to prove. The truth is, he has an axe to grind against LBJ/Lakers so painting the Clips in a positive light in addition to getting info from them is the obvious result. |

I would be really surprised if the league did not do a tampering investigation for the 2019 free agency period specifically...
Wayyyy too many deals seemed to be in place before the start date, teams talking to players under contract, reporters possibly being on one specific teams payroll etc...
For once teams besides the Lakers need to be investigated. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

It's going to feel even better when we get revenge and beat them in the western finals, sweet revenge because the Clippers will never be the Kings of California the Lakers rule this City. |

I think people all laugh at WOJ for talking up the clippers, and said ballmer paid him to talk up
On the contrary, ballmer paid WOJ to shut up and not leak the PG13 discussion so lakers keep waiting on kawhi |

Kwak will be cursed now. He strung along my beloved Lakers. He has injury issues and they will come back.
PG13 will start crying. Book it. Karma on Kwak.
LBJ is pissed and is coming with a vengeance. Boogie is working out and ready to prove top 10 player status. |

Yea I suspect that's exactly what happened. Kawhi's camp also had cris carter doing the dirty work by taking attention off the clippers
for as much clout as the lakers franchise have, we got no lakers ppl in the media. |

In hindsight, the warning signs were there when he reported that Kawhi was recruiting Durant to the Clippers. |

Tru Dat. IMO KL has always had his sights set on the Clips. |

But the Clippers' candidacy was always based on the idea that they could get a 2nd star to pair with Kawhi, which to their credit, they pulled off. Still, that didn't become realistic until Kawhi started talking to Paul George this week and silently/efficiently engineering a star extraction from a small market like NEVER seen before. So really, all the time Woj was propping up the Clippers during the season, it was a long shot proposition being portrayed as a strong possibility. It all just looks better now because the Hail Mary worked. |
