Cuzzo would help us alot tbh. Not instead of Dwight, instead of McGee. His playmaking would help our ball movement and his 3pt shooting would help our spacing.

Sure would be nice to have BC healthy enough to take our last roster spot come playoff time... _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions!

I wonder if he is on schedule in his rehab? How far along is he? _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

I think the reality is often very different than the dream. Mcgee and Dwight have been good for the most part. They aren't problems. Our depth would be awesome with cousins but that's assuming he would be ok with playing limited minutes.

I read the first sentence then stopped. Cousin’s body was so out of shape when he was first injured that it will be a surprise if he can return to 60-70% of what he was. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
I don’t know whether Cousins returning would help the Lakers or not...but it got me thinking.
I saw the video from Lakers film room when they put in KCP Kuzma Green Lebron and AD at the end of the 1st half they went on a big run like 17 to 4 because the floor was spread and Lebron and AD can virtually go one on one. There was even one play where Lebron missed the layup got his own rebound and put it back. And no one was there to challenge his rebound attempt because everyone stayed with their man.
Now imagine if Cousins got his 3 ball going. You would have like above except AD would play the 4. And now he can overpower the smaller man. The Clippers tried guarding him with Kawhi and Patternson and it was useless. He was too big for them.
So even if Cousins lost his lateral movement and was a defensive liability, the positives from his outside shooting could make up for it.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Boogie is one of the team's leaders, even if he's not even playing right now? I've heard both AD and Bron mention him giving players advice. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Who would have thought.
But I've always thought he had issues with refs or coaches, but not players. So it makes sense.

He does look good. What is impressive (aside of going to EVERY game and being engaged with the team) is that he has kept the weight off that he had lost in the off season.

No it wasn't. Seriously, how'd you forget how in shape Cousins was and had gotten himself before he got hurt? Or the numerous articles about how hard he was hitting the gym. Cousins was nowhere near "so out of shape".
