Early season, but hitting 35% on 2.8 3pts/game.
So far so good.

Beverly is overrated. AB is at worst at the same level as Beverly.

Beverly can guard more than 2 positions

Beverly also makes almost 3 x's more $ than AB. I will take AB all day long.

Also, AB is not annoying compared to Beverly.

Frank Vogel said Avery Bradley didn’t participate in Lakers practice and will be listed as questionable for game at Chicago tomorrow with bruised lower right leg

https://twitter.com/BA_Turner/status/1191466751256616961

Just sit him out for the game, get him right for the Heat

ABs defense sets the tone for the team. The way he fights through screens and the way he physically gives it all out there. His mid-range shot is also looking like a weapon for us to exploit teams that refuse to defend anything but the paint or 3.

I would rest him a week at least, and ease him back in to practice and then games after a few practices. You can lose a game here in the next 2 weeks that maybe you would not have with a full strength starting 5, but that is worth it at this point in the season to get AB right.

Apparently the key to the entire defense.

Was saying how important Bradley is to the D.
KCP was being beat easily and Caruso was not fighting hard against screens.

AS Vogel said, AB sets the tone for the Lakers D. Without AB the tone was set - lethargic and let your man beat you off screens. The bigs did not know what to do as guards were easily letting their man beat them.

Huge difference.

Having both Bradley and Rondo out at the same time is just death to the PG talent and ability pool. No team has a worse PG rotation than Cook-Caruso-KCP. Those guys can not defend PGs or run an offense as a PG.

Perfectly said.. AB might not get many "highlight" plays but he ALWAYS plays tough consistent defense and makes smart play after smart play which is exactly what that starting lineup needs.

Yep, Bradley seems to be the tone-setter on defense. His ruggedness and ability to get around screens is something that not only makes life easier for everyone else, but also emits to the other four guys on the floor. We seem to be at our most energetic defensively when he's on the court

Hopefully he's back for the Miami game, definitely missed his impact against the Bulls I think

Lets give this guy some props. He has been outstanding so far and has done everything we've needed from him.

Was Bradley guarding Nunn most of the game? Impressive that he held his own against 1 of the best players on the Heat.

Good game from AB again. His offense is underrated. And I like how he doesn't force to score. But his defense first mentality is just amazing. I hope he stays healthy.

Loving the motor on defense he and Danny provide.
