Bradley was the key to this win - he eclipsed Lou/Beverley.

Guys, what happen to the thread that asked, what good is AB. Or something disparaging like that.

To be fair, that was back when he was shooting like 29% from three. So glad he's lifted his percentage, definitely one of our most important guys now and fits with LeBron like a glove (as do DG/KCP/Caruso)

That thread.

He's been a defensive pest all season, but the way he has been shooting lately, I expect all of his open open 3s and mid-range shots he takes to go in. What a game and what a nice run he has been on.

I've been high on him since the day we signed him. He's the reason why Marcus Smart is the defender he is today.

He was playing like this right before he got hurt earlier this year too. I mean not taking these many shots. But shooting very efficiently and confidently off of handoffs. If he stays healthy, it'll go a long way towards our championship aspirations.

Exactly. He keeps going like this, we're a terrible threat.

Patrick Beverley was feeling himself after making a shot early and seemed to be talking his usual smack. A play or 2 later, Avery showed Beverley what real defense looks like, taking Beverley's dribble as if he was a kid, then scoring a layup over him. Doc referred to that, among other plays, as something that convinced him to sit Beverley down the stretch. That seemed to fire up the team and the defense was really good all day. Beverley wasn't much of a factor from then on.

On ball AB's defense is among the top in the game. Love when he gets up into guys like this. We need that same energy and intensity for us all playoffs long.

But seeing him punk Beverly and that fake tough guy stuff was amazing. Beverly is all bark no bite and he wouldn't last a day in other eras. Imagine him trying to do that to GP or Kobe.

Iirc, multiple times he was guarding Marcus Morris after p&r switching, and because he's so quick, Morris couldn't get a good rhythm and missed or was unable to shoot.

Bradley is playing great, his confidence in his shot is awesome, his defense is great, and he is making (approx.) $10 mil LESS than Danny Green...!

ouch!

Unbelievable game for him. This is why I was so bullish about getting a dependable 3rd scorer. We just don't have one right now but his performance yesterday shows how deadly this team is when we have a 3rd scoring option like that.

Glad to see you're all Bipolaring toward the positive side now. Can I get some of that same energy for Green or do you still hate him too?

AB good. PB bad. God I'm glad Beverly isn't on this team. The guy is a douche. Even in a heated competition there's no excuse to act like he does on and off the court.

Meanwhile Avery is a gentleman. Such a difference in the culture of these two teams.

Beverley is an obnoxious douche. Dude is barely a basketball player: he's out there just to try to piss people off, while being a complete non-factor on the court.

Bradley on the Celtics was an excellent 2-way impact player. I think he's capable of bringing more offensively if we gameplan for him.
