He's still in preseason shape. By the end of the season he'll be able to cheer for 48 minutes |
I love his energy!!! |

His energy is infectious. When the bench comes in and sees him there, simply cheering them on and acting like the goofball that he over a FT, it makes them want to play even better. It lets them know that everything is being appreciated. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. He guards people, like shuts 'em down. Turiaf is Madsen x 10.
And that's not just with enthusiasm. Skill wise he'll come in mighty handy for this team once he gets into shape. |

Those tools on Sportscenter were poking fun at him tonight on the highlights, saying that he was probably happy to be out of the D league. Shame they dont do their research before they open their mouths. Idiots! |

They sound like some guy who was dissing Ronny (on LG) for the same show of energy. I love Ronny, and anyone who disses him can (bleep) off. _________________ "In essence, the trade was: Shaq, Rick Fox and Gary Payton for Odom, Kwame, Mihm, Profit, 2nd round picks, a 1st round pick and 30 million in luxury tax saviings." - LakerJam

I just cant see how you can fault the dudes enthusiasm, he does exactly what you would want a teammate to do when they score. He is already my 2nd favourite Laker and he hardly plays. Its great to finally see him in the P&G, you can see that he loves being a Laker. |

oh man im lovin it....literally i was watching the game by myself and just smiled and chuckled...what a great sight..he's the first to congratulate the players coming back to the bench, just a great energy type guy. I also noticed the otherwise solemn looking chris mihm kinda letting loose a little after one play with ronny, so believe it or not, corny looking or not, this is positive. it sure beats the hell out of the lone faces im used to seeing on that bench. and it CANT be bad for team chemistry...how can you not smile when u see him doin his thing.
like i said before leave ronny alone mayne. |

I never wanna see AI, Wade, Carter, and James ever try to dance again though. Looked like douchebags dancing at the all star game, and James in his Nike Commercials |

I love his dunk dances. it's great! I've noticed that more of the bench is jumping up and down too...it's contagious and our bench could definitely use thata spark. _________________ "I define success by championships, by winning..." Kobe Bryant

Whats your personal favorite Ronny celebration?
Personally, I have to go with the samurai/karate one he does. |

Love the engergy. Our bench could sure use it.
Can't wait till he gets more playing time and he
brings all that excitement to the court. _________________ "It's all about the beer" |

As mush as I like Turiaf, I don't want to see him become another version of Mateen Cleaves. |

Ronny's getting a lot of attention for his enthusiasm. The guys on sportscenter did their thing and the guys at Dime talked about it this morning: http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/5357964

He's only been in the league for a minute, but Ronny Turiaf is already one of the most entertaining "celebration" guys to watch since Mateen Cleaves was in his prime.
And Ronny had plenty to celebrate in L.A.'s dismantling of the Kings.
Whenever the Lakers did anything good, we couldn't help but check for Ronny's reaction.
Kobe had 36, but we were impressed by Lamar Odom, who looked inspired on his way to 19 points and 9 dimes. Odom was taking it to the rack hard.

I usually watch the games on TiVo. I've started rewinding after great plays just to watch Ronny's celebrations. He cracks me up. Could you ask for a better teammate??? Positive energy like that is just invaluable. And the thing is, unlike Mad Dog, he can actually play. We are really lucky to have this dude. |

I think Ronny is really going to improve the team's chemistry with his enthusiasm especially off the floor. Furthermore, if the team's comraderie tightens up off the floor, then that can only translate to better chemistry on the floor.
On a different note, it would interesting if Ronny named his various signature celebrations in Chocolate Thunder-esque fashion. |

no doubt it doesnt help with team chemistry. beginning of the game he was usually by himself. by the end other guys were up with him jumping around. looks goofy as hell but if it helps with team chemistry its not a bad thing. |
