He shot 39.7% from the three last year. So he's still good at the one thing he has always been good at.

Give him 10 minutes a game and let him get up 5 or 6 3's.

Hmm. Kyle Korver doesn't look that buff to me.
Now Bruce Lee, that boy was cut.

Should sign him just to put him next to Ashton at Staples.

did people actually watch him last year? he did not look good! he finally hit that dreaded wall all players hit when they get up there in years.
And look no further to the playoffs when the Jazz could not even find minutes for him even though they desperately needed someone who can hit a shot

We signed lots of quality shooters (that also are competent in other areas), so our need for Korver has kinda gone away.

The Jazz have a defensive philosophy and they stick to it.

When they're behind they're not thinking "we need to start making shots". They're thinking "we're not getting enough stops".

We need a defensive wing. Badly. We have an Iggy shaped hole in our roster.

Wait on Iggy

Lakers can do both relatively easily....

According to emplay, if the Laks sign Talen Horton-Tucker to a two-way contract, they have two slots left.

He'd be really good at that...Wish he would take a position coaching but he probably thinks he's got a few years left in the tank.

He's as young as Lebron. Definitely has some mileage left in him. I don't think he will be cut though because there's still a market for him out there.

LeBron is 34, Korver is 38.

I believe he was talking about Iggy.

I agree. I don't think Memphis will buy him out. They are already $9 million under cap so buying him out or cutting him doesn't benefit them. I think they won't give up on trying to trade him until the trade deadline passes next February.

If he's truly unhappy there it wouldn't benefit them to keep him around. Also they have the right to do whatever they want with him and his contract but I'm wondering when this starts to reflect poorly on the franchise. The player is unhappy and would like to move on. Forcing him to stay could eventually be a bad look.

Great for offense, especially since Lebron and Davis will suck up defenders like no tomorrow. Not good on defense would be the big weakness.

Go for it if that deficit can be covered and he's not expensive.

Or just give Ashton a Lakers Jersey and make him stand in the corner.

You’re right. I was thinking we could add another 6’2 SG too. 💀

After reading about him more, it's seems like we should change the title of the thread, and replace the "c" in "cut" to an "o".

Does anyone REALLY think Klutch will allow THT to only get a two-way deal? They robbed the team of $30M for KCP's first 2 years here.

I had the same thought. But on the flip side LeBron may want the likes of Korver and Igoudala. Klutch could "loan" THT money in the short run, and LA could convert THT after making consolidating moves after December 15. They could also get LA to offer a bit more than the minimum next year to make up the money.

We're talking such a small amount of money to the likes of LBJ and Klutch, there are always ways.

Yeah if we could sign THT to a two way it'd be great, means we could get two guys out of Iggy, Korver, Faried, Holiday, Nwaba, Jerebko, Lyles etc. Prefer to get one wing and one taller player, so one of Iggy/Korver/Holiday/Nwaba and one of Faried/Jerebko/Lyles
