Tough to say imo. Clippers are a little bit younger overall, in that good range of 26-30, but the Lakers have this too except for Lebron, Rondo and Green.

Lakers have a higher ceiling, lower floor.
That team across the hall, lower floor, higher ceiling.

Both obviously contenders.

Lakers used a lot of roster spots on duplicate roles. They need to shed Quinn Cook, Troy Daniels, and Avery Bradley to upgrade the starting PG spot or back up 3D SF.

My starters/finishers would be:
KCP
Green
LBJ
AD
Boogie or Kuz (going big or small)

The best playmakers on the bench are either Caruso or Rondo when LBJ sits.

Dudley and Rondo should mainly be there for veteran leadership with minimal playtime.

Kuz will be the X-Factor and his defense needs to substantially improve and he needs to knock down his shot again.

Personally, I hate Rondo now. He doesnt play defense anymore and is not good on the offensive end anymore. I will take Caruso over him all day long.

I told my Warriors fan and friend I thought Cousins was a horrible sign for them last year for a myriad of reasons I wont get into here. For the 2 mm I think the lakers got him for, I think its a great sign - low risk and it seems like his floor is good enough to be a back up now.

The interesting thing is that no one on the Clippers is going to stop Boogie or Davis, likewise I'm not sure who on the Lakers can stop Kawhi & George!

So assuming those four guys get 20-25 points each, lets look at the rest of the lineups and the Lakers have Kuz & Lebron who are each gonna get around 20ppg and the Clippers have Williams for 20ppg...

The rest of the lineup pretty much negates each other and the Lakers win by 10!

But I am super happy that everyone is picking the Clippers to win it all - that puts a huge amount of pressure on them, not to mention a target on their backs EVERY game.

The Lakers who have not made the playoffs in 6 years, can just cruise to 55 wins and then turn it on it the playoffs and grab the Championship...

Let's flip a coin... if it lands on heads I win and if tails you lose.

You do know that you have essentially said that both teams have the lower floor and higher ceiling, right?

Just checking.
