Even if it's to sign him, sit him on the bench... trade him to the east at the deadline... we must keep him from the Clippers at all costs.

This team has older players who will keep him in line.

You can't poison a locker room already filled with hot headed, strong willed players.

Keep him away from the Clippers.

You will all thank me later if you take your bias off for a few moments.

Or maybe you hope he joins the Clips and poisons that locker room.

Dwight vs AD

Dwight's won the head to head match up 10-6

His FG% was 16% higher than ADs

He outrebounded him and had more blocks.

Keep him away from the Clippers.

It's a fair concern... but I think Rondo and LBJ can tell him to sit his ass down. Boogie can supply the muscle if needed.

If you could guarantee that he'd poison the Clippers then sure... but we cannot guarantee that.

I just have to point to all the teams that have asked him to basically leave.

How do you know they even matched up against each other?

Obviously that's an oversimplification

Obviously AD has improved while Dwight has declined.

Still it's something that should be taken seriously.

I don't see why it should be taken seriously. AD is just about to enter his prime while Dwight is clearly not in it anymore. Dwight has been on 4 teams these past 4 years, recently being traded and bought out by his 5th team. The record is replete with teammates and others saying how corrosive he is in the locker room and his journeyman status confirms that.

So yes, I wouldn't mind if he went to the Clips and destroyed that new ecosystem.

One of two things happens... either Doc gets him in line and he slows down Boogie and McGee... possibly AD a little

Or he gets kicked off the team again.

Why not control your own destiny instead of risking Doc converting him into a citizen for a season?

So why should we waste a roster spot on that? How happy is he going to be to play behind AD/Boogie/Jav? Then guess what happens, he gets out of line and plays for...the Clips.

How do you figure Dwight is covering Cousins and AD at the same time?

After his scandal... he's going to be a model citizen... at least for a year.

Same with Boogie because of his injury.

I don't care if Dwight goes to the east. But if we can't get Iggy, I'd take Dwight over Lance.

I like Lance but he adds nothing.

Dwight provides good cover if AD or DMC get injured and he's not on our arch enemy's team.

EVERY year like clockwork he claims he will be on his best behavior.

I go with Lance all day over Dwight b/c it's an actual need. Dwight would be behind AD/JAV/Boogie. He will not be happy and then what's the point of wasting a spot on him while we have no true SF backing up LBJ?

He doesn't but we have a clear advantage with our bigs... and he reduces that advantage assuming he's not crippled by injury.

The only time he played AD and Cousins head to head... he outscored both of them.

It's Ripley's... but it's true.

He won't be happy... no argument there.

But he's been quiet since his sex scandal so he's not going to want to stir the pot and have millions of Lakers fans trolling him again with memes.

The point is to keep him from the Clippers.

However, if AD or Boogie got hurt... he'd be useful.

If he goes to the clippers I will sincerely hate that team. I literally hate most of their roster.
Lou will and those phantom calls he gets, Pat bev and that bs he pulled on Lonzo his rookie year, PG turned us down, KL tried to ruin our chances of putting a competitive roster together, Dwight kicked us when we were down.

I low key kinda hope he does go there. Instantly most hated team ever for me.

You have a point but Dwight is done. He was just never the same after his back surgery.
