It was a tough frustrating lose but the Miami Heat are a tough team who aren’t gonna lay down easy, I’m sure the level of respect is high between both teams and now we just need to close it out in Game 6 and just appreciate the fact that the Heat are testing our team by not backing down, Spo is a helluva coach and they are gonna be a force for years to come. |

We haven’t been able to put them away for the past 3 games, and AD is hurt. This is concerning |

LeBron hit 8 threes. He showed up, but his teammates folded as usual. _________________ The most important shot in basketball. |

Amen ...... it's the NBA Finals and we're playing the other best team. We only lost by one possession after a missed wide open shot and a panic play rebound. Even if Butler goes into NBA2K mode again next game, we just need to be marginally better and we win on Sunday.
AD will be fine. He just needs to ice and rest the heel, and then shoot it up before the game.

Hard to relax when it’s the Finals and the team still hasn’t done (bleep) yet. But people still want to start threads about parades and comparisons to great Laker teams from the past. First we need to see if this team can beat a banged up Miami Heat team. |

mods need to ban posts with parades, legacy's, will Le Bron cry, etc.. it's ridiculous.
how about someone posting about a major choke job of historic proportions coming this Sunday and Tuesday? reverse jinx and get some focus back! _________________ "I bought the Lakers so I could beat the Celtics" - Dr. Jerry Buss |

AD just said he'll be fine for Sunday. Ultimately, if someone told you that you had two shots / games to win the NBA championship, you would take that any day of the week. |

Im sure this is what the Celtics felt like in 2008 after they caught us after we took a huge lead and Paul Pierce absolutely went off. One Kobe reach around from Pierce steal later and dunk and the Celtics felt crushed for losing game 5.......and then proceeded to do what they did to us in Game 6. (bleep) like this happens. Time to move on

This is kind of like the 2000 finals against the Pacers. Went up 3-1 and game 5 got smashed. Hopefully our boys finish it in 6 |

It just seemed like a lot of the guys on the team didn’t understand what it takes to close a team out for a title. LeBron obviously did. I’m extremely upset right now but everything that happened in this game can be corrected. No more slow starts. You can’t allow Nunn, Robinson and Herro to combine for 50+. I really hope the role players play a lot better Sunday. |

Except we didn't get smashed ...... the Heat slightly edged us out after we gave up two 4pt plays, choked on a wide open 3pt shot to win it, and then tossed away the rebound to ensure we did not capitalize on a second chance opportunity.
Clean up a couple mistakes and we get a better result. |

I hope they just put them away early on Sunday. Can’t take this anymore
We seemed struggle to put them away since game 2. Their role players kept hitting big shots |

Frustrating, but there's nothing they can do about it.
Game 5 is over and now they have to try again for game 6. Lakers are still up 3-2.
AD is clearly hobbled and he's not himself.
Rondo needs to have one of those "playoff Rondo" games. |

We’re gonna great game 6 like it’s game 7. That’s bad news for the Heat. |

I feel like I would be more comfortable with Dwight playing more minutes. The Lakers are better with a true center - shot blocker in the game, or at least more disruptive defensively.
I feel like we lose something when he is out of the game. Oh yeah. Jimmy B suddenly feels MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE DRIVING!!
Dwight is hitting his freethrows. I don't know why he isn't out there more. |
