What is the Los Angeles Lakers projected win total, in this totally loaded Western Conference?

Last year the Golden State Warriors led with a 57-25 regular season record,

What will this team win, with the players we have now, set to play?

I have the Lakers winning around 55-59 but I won’t be surprised if they win 60+.

48-34 is the mean, but the standard deviation from the mean is high. If we have health issues, I could imagine this team hitting the 35 win range again. If everything clicks and everyone is healthy, I could imagine this team pushing or even exceeding 60 wins.

These things are so much harder to predict today than in the past. I think it goes without saying that if Lebron and AD played 82 games, the number is very different than if they play 65. If you got 75 games out of each, my guess would be 55 or over.....but since I expect the number to be around 68-72 range, I would say in the 50ish range.

48-52 wins. Otherwise Vogel is likely not doing load management enough.

57-25, hoping for 60+. Surprised no one has done the sarcastically pessimist prediction of 37 wins and 8th seed.

I predict 49 regular season wins. It's not the most enthusiastic total that's for sure. Lebron's age, mileage and return from serious injury make for a basis for a sub-55 win total. I anticipate him missing time again, at least fifteen games and I figure we're going to see a player at least a full click or two reduced from the years he carried some pretty mediocre rosters in deep championship challenges - when he does come back.

I also anticipate a continuance of AD's patterns: missing time due to injury, producing an underwhelming win total, and ultimately not being a guy who can reliably carry a team on his back very often.

The rest of the team is pretty unimpressive, so it's an unimpressive projection.

So basically everything that can go wrong will go wrong? Each of those scenarios, taken alone, has a decent chance of coming true. But the chances of all of them happening at the same time are very low. 52-30.

If we stay relatively healthy (meaning we do have a few minor injuries here and there, and Lebron and AD miss no more than 10 games each) 55 wins is a good over/under.

I don't see why we should automatically expect LeBron to have another significant injury and miss more than 10 games. Having your first significant injury at age 34, and then coming back and looking spry while putting up your usual sexy stats doesn't make you injury prone all of a sudden.
