It's insane.. We could very well have the two best bigs in the entire NBA in Dwight and AD at being able to switch on smalls and still play elite level defense. We could go against many small ball lineups with 2 legit centers and not miss a beat defensively.. This team is going to be scary af in the playoffs as long as they stay healthy. |

He lost a lot of weight over the offseason (and most likely added a lot of muscle mass), when I saw him in that interview with Graham Bensinger, it looked like he was almost a different person |

The thing that I'm most impressed with about Dwight is his ability to move his feet on the perimeter. He's guarding much more agile players extremely well around the 3-point line, forcing the opponent to pass or put up a bad shot. It's something I never would have expected from 33-year-old D39, but here we are _________________ #18 next... |

Like got picked/switched, closing out on Coby White on the 3 pt line then chase him in the paint for the soul crushing block |

It's absolutely no coincidence he's closing games...Like Bron said he's the anchor on D and best communicator. I'm sure Kuz will have his moments but if it's a close game coming down to the stretch expect Dwight to finish..especially the way Vogel emphasizes defense. |

that play was sick! I taught Dwight would get back off the dribble..which he did but did a quick recovery...not many big man that can do that and as another poster said..the Lakers have the other one that can! |

Dwight has become a very important part of the team with his defense.
He anchors the second team defense which would be terrible without him.
His attitude so far has been great and Howard is showing he can be a team player. |

Entire NBA ? Embiid ? Giannis ? Very happy to have Dwight at this level, but don't get too excited... |

Very hard to say if Dwight is one of the best bigs. And for the Lakers he doesn’t have to be.
His physical ness is what he brings. More so than AD because AD doesn’t want to get banged up too much for good reason. There was that play after Kuzma missed the free throw and the guy was trying to box him out and got shoved to the ground giving Dwight the rebound and dunk.
I mean you can box him out and he can still find a way to get the rebound using his strength

That play where Dwight put Kornet on his wallet, grabbed the Kuz missed FT and two hand smashed it. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

The exciting part about Dwight right now is that he can put up good stats but is more focused on making a Impact on the game rather then focusing on Impressing people with a 20/10 stat line... it’s truly a beautiful thing to watch. |

2012 Dwight would be looking at his stat sheets and watching YouTube fart videos will eating a 5 gallon trash bag full of Skittles while impregnating every woman in a 2 mile radius.
He seems to have changed for the better. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I’m trying to think of previous athlete resurrections like Dwight Howard, it’s wild. |

Gave up me for we and found happiness. A common realization among regular folks, but less so among the rich and famous. Kudos to Dwight, I’m very happy for him and us. |
