Very rare to see someone change do drastically late in their careers. Kudos to him for being a defensive force and a team player. Looks like he's well liked by his teammates too. |

Quote: | Frank Vogel on Dwight's three: "It’s like the scene from Major League where Willie Mays Hayes catches it over his shoulder and the manager says, ‘Great catch. Don’t ever do it again.’ One of those situations. We’ll take the three points for sure." |

I wonder if Frank gives him some leeway.
I mean 50% isn't too shabby
But say like, "Dwight, I'll let you take those if we're up 11." |

In training, Dwight is nearly automatic from three. Let him loose, Vogel. _________________ Frankie Vogel goes to Hollywood |

Woj just reported the Blazers are amending Melo's KT. It will be fully guaranteed for this year.
Time for the Lakers to do the same for D39. He has been huge for us and deserves it. |

His energy has been amazing this season, he is really playing the role they wanted for him to perfection and seemingly enjoys doing it.
Winning is happiness, but this guy is a major force for us, I love his finishing at the rim. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

There has never been a player on the Lakers that left such a bad taste in my mouth as Dwight. I never booed Samaki Walker, Kwame, Bynum to mention other much maligned Lakers big men, but man Dwight's tenure and exit really bothered me. To be fair, however, Dwight did the Lakers a favor by not taking a max deal. Even still I hated the guy and was reluctant as (bleep) when the Lakers signed him.
Today, Dwight is one of my favorite players on the Lakers. His play has been perfect. He is the enforcer the Lakers need. Doing all of the dirty work, rebounding, blocking shots, I mean I don't have enough kudos for the guy. I don't know if Dwight is mean or not but he plays mean and intimidating. There is no question in my mind that he is an integral part of everything the Lakers do, and to be honest the sooner the Laker guarentee the rest of his deal the better. |

So good. Yeah i think we have to be up 20 with less than 4:00 minutes left before Dwight even thinks about shooting one of those. |

Lakers have never seen two defensive players like howard n davis at the same time. McGee is another one. Then an ex excellent perimeter in Rondo who can still read defense well in his post prime years. Lebron himself has fed on the defensive energy. _________________ Kobe's Top 5 Dunks, 81 points, MJ last gm @Staples |

For some reason, even though I disliked Dwight tremendously, Smush still remains my all time least favorite Laker. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |

He knocks down so many in practice. I'm all for using the regular season to explore how consistent he can be with them |

It’s hard to believe we had Dwight compete against Joakin Noah at this point. |
