Him doing that will affect the Lakers about as much as it scared the Warriors when he did it in the first round last season. Kind of sad when your mouth is 10 times bigger then your actual talent.

So true..probably the most overrated guard in the league...and his defense is so overrated it's not funny. Just ask KD who was literally laughing at him every time Beverly would try to guard him.

Man some members of the press really like to stoke this rivalry.
As for Beverly, he makes a living off playing hard defense and getting under people's skin. They still have to play the games, let's hope he's got less to talk about come March.

Yup. Lots of talking on twitter too by Clippers “fans” that joined post July 2019. It’s almost time to start the gradual beat down of the clippers. Bring it.
On another note, one of my favorite nicknames for a player is Somali Pirate
Kawhi never had any real interest in the Lakers.
He was playing the Lakers to make sure the Clippers gave up everything to get PG. If Clippers did not, he was going back to Toronto for 2 years.
I do think it is comical people label Kawhi all about winning and Lebron about other interests. Kawhi left a championship team. The East is still way weaker than the West. If Kawhi stays in Toronto, they likely get out of the East. The Raptors were trying to make moves to get better as well. Only Milwaukee was in Toronto's way, and even so, they lost some significant players.
In Clipper land, first year together, lets see if they can get out of the West. It is loaded with the Lakers, Rockets, Warriors etc. There are about 6 teams in the West, that I think are better than the 3rd best team in the East. The road from the 1st round, 2nd and conference finals is so much tougher in the West.
I appreciate a guy like Lebron far more now late in his career as he is willing to take the heat that comes with being the face of the Lakers. The heat that comes with not winning a title every year. The heat that comes with being compared to winners like Shaq, Kobe etc. Same thing with AD. AD seems to embrace this. I want players like that on the team.
We have two stars, two superstars who want to be Lakers. So many are already tearing them down or belittling what they are capable of. I wonder if Clipper fans are doing that to PG and Kawhi. I bet not. We have 2 superstars in LA after a long time. I am super excited about this season. (bleep) Kawhi. (bleep) the Clippers.

That's really what it boils down to. I suppose it doesn't HAVE to happen this year, but it will be absolutely necessary to sign AD - which I think will happen.
