Does anyone know how involved Kobe was in the actual writing/story? I think it would be cool to buy this for my coffee table just bc the aesthetic is cool....but also wanted it to be a true authentic story from Oscar award winning story teller, Kobe Bryant _________________ Billions Billions Billions

I heard him say in an interview in regards to the first book at least that he kinda casted the vision of the story and had a talented writer come in and actually write the book. I’m betting the plot, the characters, the little nuggets of life lessons come from the Mamba himself and the writer put it all together. _________________ We pour this booze and we drink this booze because we think it's yummy. I don't know anything about this particular book (didn't even know it existed until this thread).
However, when a writer and a celebrity collaborate on a children's book, I generally assume the writer did most of the creative heavy-lifting.
The celebrity co-authoring a children's book has always been a big field. Generally, the celebrity doesn't have to put in a lot of effort other than brainstorming a few ideas and then doing some press. The celebrity's name enables enough books to be sold to turn a profit no matter whether the book is good, bad or indifferent.
