Again I will repeat the point that having our 3rd and 4th collective options at 14 and 11 is fine with a healthy Lebron and AD. Who steps up for 20 if one is out for awhile? We have really been fortunate with health and I hope that continues, but where will depth come from if it doesn’t?
You can say that about every top team. Who steps up for the Rockets, Nugs, or paper Clips if one of their big guns goes down? All things being equal (no injuries for anyone), nobody is going to beat us. I hate to play the "IF" game. "IF" my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle. I like both our regular season depth, and our playoff depth (shorter rotations).
You can, and when PG/Kawhi have missed games, Lou and Harrell have stepped up and scored 25-35. So if you’ve paid attention you know who did for the Clippers. Injuries aren’t an “if”, they happen everyday. You either plan for that or you don’t. And if not, then you can’t use injuries as an excuse.

Your argument that he doesn't do it every play is useless. The point is he had that last year and this year he no longer does.
And that's despite Kawhi not playing defense on the best offensive weapon and him load managing to the 4th quarter.
Kawhi no longer has that explosiveness.
I'm not arguing it's a play to play thing really. more of a game to game, week to week thing , depending on how he feels or how much he wants to exert. Even in the playoffs last year he was limping kinda, but he just willed himself to playing hard and was great

Not only did he not have a full year off like last year, but he had a shortened off season for his knee to recover, and a shortened pre season because he moved countries. Lebron didn't look in shape all last year either.
If the Lakers can keep a gap, which means winning on Christmas day (even though it's not necessary), they may be able to give Lebron and AD a week off heading into the playoffs

The clips are meaningless. I'm saying he had another gear last year which he hasn't shown he has this year. Saying he played at a slower pace last year doesn't change the fact that he could flip a switch.
He hasn't flipped that switch yet this year. Not to the same extent anyway. Not even in the past 1.5 weeks.
In the past 1.5 weeks he's looked better because he hasn't looked like he's been playing injured. It's not exactly a high bar.
