This is an unmitigated disaster for them, they can sugarcoat it and spew bs all they want.

Leonard could have stayed in Toronto on a champ squad with great talent and culture

He could have come to LA and sign on with Lebron and Davis.

No he decided to hitch his star to one of the most overrated players in the NBA in Paul George. They dealt 5 firsts, two swaps, an excellent young guard on a rookie deal and a solid vet for this clown. Sometimes you just need to read the trade package again and laugh. Believe me, the Flips didn't want to do that trade. But they couldn't lure the second max FA Leonard wanted (KD, Butler), so this was there plan B. It was a total failure.

They are not going to be the shoo in favs next year either. A team always emerges. The West is tough. Dallas will get better. Utah will get healthy, GSW will be back to contending status etc. Plus Lakers, Nugs, Rockets etc.

You are right. The West is gonna be a blood-bath next season!

He wanted to come home but he decided to hitch his wagon to the Clippers....and he's finding out he's getting them no further than previous Clippers teams with players such as CP3, Blake Griffin, Elton Brand, Chris Kaman....etc....

What happened? Did Ballmer get pissed off and cut the supplemental income?

The bandwagon rolled much more smoothly without her.

That would never work out, Kawhi's still in denial about his injury. Probably still looking for a quack doctor to tell him what he wants to hear

That's why the Lakers need to win it all this year, with the Clippers and Bucks out of the picture, there are no friggen' excuses and failure is not an option...

LeBron knows this and two straight 4-0 sweeps would NOT surprise me...

Without a doubt Lebron’s best shot.

GSW, Dallas, Denver, Clippers and maybe Utah will all be top 4 in West type of teams. West 1-8 will be brutal again...small gap.

It’s been a few days and I’m still enjoying the fact that everyone was so wrong about the Clips.

It’s like how a few people (who are supposed to know what they’re talking about) were picking Cleveland to go to the Super Bowl last year after they got Odell.

Certain franchises just know how to lose. Never bet on these teams. Never.

Much like when Lebron failed to live up to his end of the bargain in 09 and 10, the Clips failed to do the same this season. Perhaps next season we’ll get the showdown. Either way it doesn’t matter. I want that ring!

Nain reasons clippers lost
1. Karma ( KL deliberately sabotaging lakers).
2. Their arrogance. They made lot of enemies even before they won anything.
3. Doc rivers.
4. They thought with the talent they have, it will be a cake walk. When things got harder, they couldnt handle it as they were not prepared for that at all.
5. Having way too many scoring options.

I'd add:

6. Aside from Kawhi their best players all have a history of being erratic in big games.

I'll add:

7. No team cohesion, stars were treated differently, and they were resented by other teammates.
