Yeah well that's different. They're tanking and their schedule is helping that

Go look at Portland's schedule. I thought the Rose Garden must be under renovation.

What happened to VLF's "big men don't affect the game" argument against AD?

The Bucks' second unit stopped Lou Williams. It doesn't matter what the Clippers' starting lineup does. The Bucks Brook Lopez went 2-12 in a blowout win.

Neither KL or PG13 are the type of players who can score enough to win games, especially in a series. They are more like Tim Duncan, who needs a lot of scoring support; they are not Kobe, MJ or even Iverson. Let Leonard and George (try to) get theirs. Just control the rotations so you have a very good defense unit (maybe your top defensive unit) whenever Lou Williams is in the game.

This is actually a good game plan. Add to that that most of PG and KL's shots are low % shots. They seldomly drive to the hoop.

Exactly. 3 streaky jump shooters and an undersized big. That's not championship DNA.

You just described the Warriors.

Not sure if you're serious. Steph, Klay and KD are easily 3 of the best 5 shooters of all time. Klay's worst year from 3 is on par with PG's second best. Draymond at his best is essentially a 7 footer with elite rim protection and perimeter defense. Harrell is ineffective against legitimate size. Comparing the Clippers to the Warriors is misguided.

Thanks for posting. Saved me the time.

Reading challenged as well? The only person to compare the Clippers and Warriors was the chump you quoted. The Warriors were 3 jump shooters and an undersized big.

One major difference (besides that the Clippers are shooting about 5% lower on 3s than the Warriors during their championship run), was '17-'19 Golden State didn't need to stagger their two main ballhandlers the way Kawhi and Lou are being kept apart as much as possible for two players averaging 32 minutes.

Nice of you to ignore Bogut and McGee's contributions as well. Zaza I understand, his were of a different nature.

PG started out 1-5 (0-4 3PT).
I wonder if he ends the game 9-23 (4-12 3PT)

I love how we can still get our Laker fix on off nights. Just watch Clipper games and pull for the opponents. LOL!

Thats what I do. The reddit game threads are hilarious. There are like 5 clipper fans on there.

I don't understand how when PG13 cradles the ball to his chest like a football and barrels into the defenders chest, how that is not an offensive foul. He does that a lot. I think James Harden has this in his bag of tricks as well. It's like they're about to do the euro step, but there is no room for it or they forget to do the step, so it's straight charge.

Real danger in the finals will be PG not Kawhi. PG isn't crippled and having 2 legs is always … beneficial, or so I've heard.

I won't say anything about PG's shoulders cause we're kinda in the same boat with AD's shoulders

That's true. Except we hate Paul George. And he's had surgeries on each shoulder. And we hate Paul George.

Looks like we have another optics game @Indiana. Clippers win there on B2B without Kawhi.

Ultimately, the Xmas day game will be the true test, but optics like it was vs. Atlanta.

I'm personally done with the regular season.
I've seen lebron enough, i know what he does and his limitations.
I am super impressed by AD, he is MVP of the league, I don't know what giannis and luka are doing that would change my mind other than stats and hype.
our role players and shooters are good enough IMO to win a ring. we had a little hiccup with kcp and now he's back and performing the way i have expected with such a team since we got him. and all the others like green, caruso, bradley, troy...we only need 1-2 to have decent games each game to win.
kuz is disappointing, but i was never super impressed with him. if he can just get better gradually, thats good enough.
Dwight is great.
coach is good enough.

so i've seen enough. this is a championship team. all that remains is the things that depend on luck. so i'm just waiting for the playoffs. i dont care about the stats, awards, or other things related to hype at this point. it's painfully obvious we are the biggest best team right now. I'm not even that curious about the bucks. such is the nba today, sorry. if the officiating was consistent and the rules were not stupid, i'd be more interested in the RS.

^I don’t think you are wrong tbh.

I’m just not fully confident yet in 3-10 or 3-8 when rotations are tightened.

I’ve seen enough with respect to depending on Caruso and Dwight. AD is showing that he can be the best player on the court in a playoff series, absolute monster on both sides.

Lebron is back for revenge season. Just think he needs someone who can help alleviate some of Clippers ball pressure. I know he thinks he can go 40+ in a playoff game, but even if he’s on the court he needs some ball handling help against a team like the clippers.

That's Rondo and Caruso. We had neither for the opening game
