Exactly, people can't get the simple concept this is a Lakers board at the end of the day. Every single die hard Lakers fan I have ever met does not root for the Clippers in any way shape or form especially when they're actually good. That's like going on a Yankee's board and calling them homers for talking trash about the Mets

I absolutely go overboard with my trashing of them too and I do it purposely not because i'm scared of them (I will openly admit though they are the only team along with the Bucks that I believe have a real chance of taking the Lakers to a full epic 7 game Playoff series) but I straight up have zero respect for not only the franchise as a whole but PG and Kawhi along with Balmer taking over the most hated owner trophy from Cuban.

You want perfect objective conversations regarding a team that is literally in our own backyard making subliminal disses through slogans, billboards, comments, covering up our banners etc.? You can always hang out on a Clipper forum which i'm sure they'd be ecstatic to get another to join there lil miniature fan base.

For me personally it will continue to be as always....

F the Clippers

Clips is the only team that is scaring me because they have a Lebron kryptonite and they have better role players. Also they have Logo on their side and better flexibility as far as trade this year with a sweetener (they are permitted to trade their first round pick this year). But if AD imposed his will, I don’t think it matters.

Kuzma is likely our 3rd best player, he would be the 5th/6th best player on the Clippers. They have great depth.

Lou and Harrell are better and more impactful than Kuzma. Harkless could be as well.

Man, we lost to Orlando by 1 and the Clips killed them by 27.

I hope we get revenge when we meet them again and that the Lakers have made the adjustments. That game matters to me as much as Lakers-Celtics do

Clippers lost to the suns by 8..... Lakers beat them 3 times
Clippers lost at San Antonio by 25.... Lakers win twice at San Antonio
Clippers lost at Denver, OKC, and Utah..... Lakers win at all three places!

Is that the game that we are gonna play?

Yep.
When the road team is playing a back 2 back in L.A, you gotta see which L.A. team gets the road team on the tail end of the b2b.

Imagine if Clippers had to play OKC in the 1st Rd. And even worse, imagine the Lakers have to play Pelicans. They getting Zion back and will probably make that 8th spot. Yikes, the pressure on the Lakers if that were to come true.

Lonzo and Ingram are turning up, good for them. Go ahead and get that win against the Clippers. You have my support.

Nobody should be that terrified of a 19 year old with less than half a season of experience under his belt.

None of the contenders should be afraid. But I expect them to be tough team in a series just overmatched by Lakers or another first seed in the West.

Pels have a long way to go to earn that 8th spot. But adding Williamson will certainly be interesting. If he can bring the energy he had in preseason to that team they should make a run at the 8th seed. Favors being healthy has solidified the middle for them but Williamson will add a whole different level of energy and dynamic play. Ingram and Holiday are both clutch player this year.

If they figure it out this last half it will be fun to watch.
