I'll give a Lakers card to the member whose guess is closest to the score. This should be a fun and entertaining game as long as the Lakers win that is.

Lakers 114

Clippers 92

LA Lakers (28-26) at LA Clippers (30-23)
Preview - Box Score - Recap
Game Info: 10:30 pm EST Fri Feb 24, 2006

The Los Angeles Clippers' rebounding woes are a huge reason for their season-high five-game losing streak.

The Clippers hope to get a better effort on the glass as they try to end their skid as they take on their intracity rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Clippers have been outrebounded in four straight games by 10 per game. They struggled again in Wednesday's 106-102 loss at Houston, getting outrebounded 45-36.

"We definitely need to turn around our rebounding and we know we're capable of it," said Clippers All-Star forward Elton Brand, who had 12 rebounds.

The Clippers have also been outscored in the paint during every game of the losing streak by an average of 6.4 points.

Lakers tell the Clips:

1. This is still the LAKER'S CITY
2. This time next month, we'll have your current playoff spot!

Lakers by 9... Lakers 101 Clips 92....

Again...if Lamar plays well then this opens up everything and makes it easier for Kobe to dominate the 2nd half. Bottom line, if lamar plays well (20 pts 8-10 boards and 4-6 assists) then the Lakers will win.

Well since the Lakers are the perfect team to play when you have a losing streak... Clippers 105 Lakers 90.

Did someone say rebounds? This looks like a job for the best rebounding SF in the game.

Yeah that's the scary part. I watched in person as the Pacers demolished our team to snap a 5 game skid. That being said, I still gotta pull for my team. Another good game from Odom and Kobe's game right now is unstoppable.

Lakers 102
Clips 98

If the Lakers control Kaman on the boards, they win.

Amazing to see how Kaman has become "a guy to stop". He's really progressed over the past few years and I think he's a really good player. Plus, he's got awesome hair!

This would be a real solid win for us.
Lamar needs to continue his aggressive play and Kobe will probably do his thing.

Nice try!

But going with our "slump-buster" reputation, I'm gonna say:

Clippers 96
Lakers 92

Heartbreaker.

Lakers coming off an easy win, a back to back. The Clippers on a big losing streak coming into their big game. This has all the makings of a Lakers struggle and a Clippers route.
