Looks like the end for a Laker Legend. Looking forward to seeing #16 in the rafters.

Can’t wait to see his jersey retired up there. Hall of fame in 5 years too.

Super sad to hear the news. Living in Portland now, my wife and I were excited to catch a game of his. We have been a fan of his for quite sometime, even named our cat after him!

Bring him on as a coach! He could work wonders with our bigs!

Just heard and came here to post this! Let's grab him! Put him in charge of literally anything.

Pau is one of the few players I feel could seamlessly transition into a coaching role. I would like the lakers to try and grab him.

Much respect to Pau. I would love the Lakers to give him a non guaranteed contract and have him suit up one game just to have him retire a Laker, Hutu know that’s not tenable. He’s had a great career and I look forward to the day he has his jersey in the rafters.

AD would wreck everyone with Pau post moves. Have not seen AD using his off hand at all.

Are post games still a thing in the NBA?

Thank you

If Pau was given Dwight's body /ROAR.

Loved that pass to Fisher. Such a great personality and sportsman

While I would love to see this happen what are the chances the Buss family retire his #?

Do you remember how stoked you were, watching this game? My outlook on the season and next 3-4 years went from ho hum to holy crap, this could be a dynasty. The game itself was exhilarating because Pau seemed to find his groove almost immediately, as you've said.

I did say I would want him as an assistant coach but he doesn’t necessarily have to be an assistant he can just help AD and our bigs.

It felt like we won the championship the very second we got him. Seriously, I hadn't seen friends that excited since 2000. People were running into classes to alert their friends, teachers were stopping class to cheer with their students, it was magical. The bangwagon got so full we needed new wheels.

Here's an extra treat, courtesy of the dear, dear NPZ: Pau's first home game as a Laker
