Super sad to hear the news. Living in Portland now, my wife and I were excited to catch a game of his. We have been a fan of his for quite sometime, even named our cat after him!
Bring him on as a coach! He could work wonders with our bigs! _________________ "Friends can come and go, but banners hang forever" -KOBE

Pau is one of the few players I feel could seamlessly transition into a coaching role. I would like the lakers to try and grab him. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good
Much respect to Pau. I would love the Lakers to give him a non guaranteed contract and have him suit up one game just to have him retire a Laker, Hutu know that’s not tenable. He’s had a great career and I look forward to the day he has his jersey in the rafters.
Do you remember how stoked you were, watching this game? My outlook on the season and next 3-4 years went from ho hum to holy crap, this could be a dynasty. The game itself was exhilarating because Pau seemed to find his groove almost immediately, as you've said. _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."

would like to see his number retired but would not like him as an assistant coach _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way

It felt like we won the championship the very second we got him. Seriously, I hadn't seen friends that excited since 2000. People were running into classes to alert their friends, teachers were stopping class to cheer with their students, it was magical. The bangwagon got so full we needed new wheels.
