Anyone watch tonight’s game?

Would love to know the Heat’s game plan on how they blew out the Bucks.

The secret weapon Robin Lopez missed the game.
BTW, did Giannis just have a bad shooting night? Or did Miami have a scheme?
My guess is that the Bucks just had an off shooting night. As Middleton, Matthews and Giannis all shot poorly even though Miami sent 2 at Giannis at times.

I watched the 4th after Knicks/Rockets:

1. Heat were up for this game. Miami style of play, can they do it for an entire series?

2. Bucks off with their shooting, but this is exactly why I don’t trust them. Playoff type game, they start getting bothered and get tight.

3. Adebayo neutralized Giannis

Bucks still beat the Heat in a series, but a team like the Celtics or Raptors could take them out.

They absolutely had Giannis super frustrated and taking shots he did not want to take. They did a great job of timing traps or bringing help at the right times to really bother him. He looked horrible tonight. They also did a good job of still closing out on shooters. A big part of that was just the Bucks having an awful shooting night on top of that but you have to give the Heat credit for never letting the Bucks feel comfortable from the start.

I will say I only seen a bit of the beginning then most of the 4th but you could tell Giannis just wanted to go home lol.. They took him out with like 4 minutes to go I believe along with Middleton.

I don't see the Heat beating them in a series but these kind of games show they are beatable especially if the Raptors have a great series I could see them possibly ending there run.

I actually feel we had a solid gameplan and would have beat them last game if Giannis doesn't have one of his best outside shooting games of his career. I'm really looking forward to the game against them to see how we handle them.

They needed a good shooting night for Giannis just to beat the Lakers. The Lakers actually defended Giannis penetrations on that game and let him settle for a jumpshot, too bad for Lakers they went in. There's no way Giannis will shoot like that 4 games out of 7.

Giannis 6-18 FG% and 0-4 from three. He's human after all.

Everyone can have an off night but the real weakness for the Bucks is they don’t have another great player that can step up when it matters.

Tbh the biggest factor is Giannis 3s. Lakers had a solid game plan first meeting.

Giannis against the Lakers 45% 3PT shooter
Giannis against everyone else 30% 3PT shooter

It certainly feels that way. If he isn’t hitting 3s, you play him for the drives...AD should be able to defend like Adebayo.

The Bucks shooters have issues under pressure imo. It’s all fun in the regular season but with playoff pressure...they aren’t as imposing especially if you don’t have to respect Giannis 3.

Imagine this guys. Truly historic: Lebron James beats another 70 win team (Bucks), takes down another 2x MVP (Giannis) in the finals similar to 2016 (Warrios + Steph). Bringing another champ to LA (his 3rd team) at age 35.

If above happens Lebron will be the GOAT and surpass MJ (YEAH I SAID IT).

I was saying the same thing to someone the other day. The argument gets very real for sure if that happens and he won't even be done after doing that either. His career numbers are going to be pretty insane regardless once it's all said and done it's all about getting another championship or two at this point.

I also heard in the media somewhere someone said if Kawhi wins with a third team he has to be in that all time discussion which I thought was ridiculous considering his overall career is nowhere close at this point to those top guys and highly doubt it ever will be since his body is already breaking down.

Yeah that is ridiculous. Kawhi with all that load management being the GOAT?

I like it. Stand off of him and force him to shoot. Go under every screen. He might be able to have some good shooting games against that, but over a 7 game series? Doubtful. If he does, tip your hat and move on.

If we end up against the bucks in the finals it has to be LeBron. He's the only one who has the strength and agility to do that to Giannis.

I hope Vogel is ready to roll out a lineup against the bucks that can all hit a 3 point shot...

Seemed like Adebayo got to him in transition first. AD is the only guy I could see mimicking that because I think Lebron, Dwight, Javale are too slow or old or both. But can AD do that either?
Do Green KCP Morris and Kuz mimic Miami's 3pt shooters?

Seems like he's not accustomed on playing heavy minutes. His playing style is not suited for long minutes. Now we know why Lebron tends to coast on defense when he's playing heavy minutes.

Lebron guarded him well this game though.

Clippers the bigger threat imo. They just have way more in attack.

Live and die with the 3 for the Bucks.

Lakers did a great job using guards to slow down Giannis in the open court from the 2nd quarter on.

Unless Giannis make 5 3s again or Bucks 3s are around 40%, I dont see them winning against the Lakers.
