Will the Lakers Load Manage now that they are already sure of the playoffs and already made an stsatement against the Bucks and Clippers?

But they are also just 2 losses behind the Bucks and taking the overall HCA, will they go for it?

BTW, who has the tie breaker now between Lakers and Bucks?

After losing to Phoenix yesterday, they play at Denver today. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Neither AD or Lebron has been playing a huge number of minutes, and those are the only two guys who matter when it comes to load management. My guess is the Lakers will just keep on keeping on with the same approach they've been using.

I doubt either of them will take a off a lot of games.

That is theoretical possible.

If the Bucks lose tonight, the Lakers will only have a 1 game difference in the lost column.

The next few games are big teams..Nuggets, Rockets, Jazz (one in Utah). After that its a cake walk mostly (besides the Clippers & Raptors) until the playoffs.

So if the Bucks lose tonight and the Lakers win all these games (or just lose 1) against the tougher opponents till the game in Utah on March 18th, they could achieve the best record an load manage the last month of the season against the easier teams.

I'm in favor of players pacing themselves. Go hard, coast, go hard coast. Bron is a master at it. Watch, he'll sometime go full bore on fast on breaks then walk the ball up on other possessions. Pacing and minuets played are key.

Actually, Milwaukee and the Lakers are in the exact same position. They are both 7 games up in the loss column and the Bucks have a much more difficult schedule to maintain their lead.

If we both tried to win every game, I think the Lakers will have less pressure and will surpass the Bucks at the end. We are improving at the right time and they are declining.

No matter what happens in the west we will have home court advantage. So the only risk will be against Milwaukee.

You want to be healthy and peak heading into the playoffs (see Fish returning to spearhead a 15-1 playoff run in 2001 and 8 straight heading into the playoffs).

Imo just remain the course and don’t push extra hard for anything. If it’s in our cards to gain HCA throughout, so be it. But try to monitor our duos’ minutes to hover around 30mpg and don’t push them too hard for any agenda (whether that’s HCA or to a lesser degree seeding).

I don't think we need to push in the slightest and we'll still pretty easily end up with the best record after everything has unfolded to this point. We could very easily be tied already by Thursday night (in the loss column at least). We can still sit Lebron and AD if there are any nagging concerns or on back to backs and we still got it.

If Giannis misses more then 2 games it will just be a bigger separation.

I also think we'll see AD and Lebron attacking much less to end the season and float on the perimeter while playing less minutes many of the remianing games.

Now within one game in the loss column. We should be tied with them in a few days.
